tsu, the TW maxes in no way compare to a titan class figure. also, your timeline on the next titan is completely baseless.

Never said the TW FM would be a superior toy compared to a possible or not HasTak Titan city bot version.

What I did say was. The TW version is a great superb toy to have while waiting for the HasTak Titan toy.

What I also said was There is no guarantee HasTak will ever make another Titan City-bot. Rather have the TW version than nothing.

The time line guessing for another Titan City bot was all based on HasTak's 2014 to 2016 TF toy lines AOE, CW and Rid releases dates schedules.

Sometimes some G1 molds works well with modern classics displays, like G1 Skylynx, I also brought an Encore For Max, Looks great with my SDCC Metroplex.

Honestly, from what I've seen the G1 Fort Max toy is still great even by today's standards. He's full of play functionality and solid as a rock. Sure he's a bit of a brick, but posing something that big and heavy would be damn near impossible unless he had, like, industrial strength joints.

Last night I did some checking up on this, Generations Titan scale Fortress Maximus custom. A TFW member did this custom explains that it is not a simple repaint or easy custom.



This toy described by the customizer is a extensive custom. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons- ... heavy.html The customizer needed to take legs off a Supreme class Starscream toy and apply them to this custom fort max. The added starscream legs gave the FM custom the extra height it needed, extra swivels and extra knees it needed in order to re-create the FM city and Attack modes.

Ofcause most know the customizer needed to take his $130+ PE Warden toy and use it for the Head of this custom.

The city and attack modes tower on this FM custom was taken from another toy. Other parts,accessories and weapons were also taken from other toys.

So, This is not a easy custom that HasTak can easily pull off on their toy line budget and time consuming process. Guessing it would just be cheaper, quicker and easier for HasTak to create a Titan Fortress Maximus toy from Scratch.

Still guessing any Generations Titan class Fortress Maximus toy that HasTak releases is One to Two to Three years away.

Um...what? You're making the basis of an argument against Has/Tak using the Titan Metroplex by using the work of a customizer? Do you see the logical trouble with this argument? O_o

Think the video reviewer did a great job on showing the toy transformed in all it's modes. Nice job on showing off all of the articulation and close looks at the joints tech. he even showed size comparisons with the kabaya, tiny KO and PE Warden. Joints looked and sounded tight. Fingers had some articulation that I speculated they didn't.

Would have liked the video reviewer to describe the TW GM toys weight and plastic quality.

definitely think the TW GM, FM toy nees the Two feet bots Cog and Gasket. As they will help fill in the hollow feet. give robot toes on the GM, FM feet and add extra weight for the bigger toy.

Would be surprised if no one bothers to create a full accessories kit for this toy. With the Big dual hand gun, Master Sword, Cog, Gasket, Maybe pretender shell. Some city accessories like the radar dish and other stuff. Think TW or another company is bound to create it.

Would be good if GM and FM could align the 2 city modes to form a bigger style city.

What happened to the other %10? It'll be a "warehouse find" in a year or so with a %100 markup.

Yea like their FP deluxe insecticons. Sold out preorders and then they keep getting more and more and now its on sale and I think even BBTS got them at one point...

Did TFSource sell any TW Grants at TFCon Chicago? Saw some video reviews and I was wondering if attendees at TFCon Chicago bought the actual TW Grant toys at the con.

Was TW Grant only a TFSource exclusive? Ask this question because Chimungmung has had pre-orders up for both TW Grant and TW Fort max for several weeks now.

BTW, Plan to buy the TW toy in the Fort Max colors. Because those are my favorite colors on the sculpt.

I believe that was the case. They got an advanced shipment that they took to the convention, with the bulk arriving at their warehouse for online ordering.

I think that TFSource was the North American exclusive. Chimungmung (still can't believe there's a store with that name) may be the asian exclusive source

Grant IS and always has been a TFSource exclusive, but only in the US. Everywhere else in the world, it's a common release, which is why Chimungmung has them available for sale. For the US market, the Fortress Maximus coloring is what will be the main release, carried by all retailers.

Why is it taking so long for USA based import sites to get TW Fort Max in stock. It's been almost Three weeks since Chimungmung.com got TW Fort Max in stock.
