Nah like, I'm just talking about the general idea of turning WFC Megs intro Galvatron, not how this upgrade was done, like, while it is nice, especially the new chest and new crotch, I just feel like I've seen this before.

Whatever happened to that WFC Optimus prime upgrade? The one with the opening chest and new hands?

I think they need to remove his original chest instead of making it his waist. Whenever I flip down WFC Megatron's chest I feel it looks like he's wearing a diaper.

This set might look good and that is not the united Meg's that's the Meg's from the tru 3 pack I forgot the name but I have him sitting right next to me and he matches perfect

Being a Galvy lover, I took a trip to the Toys R Us to see if they still had the 3 pack left. And they did. So I'm on board for the add-on set now. I wouldn't pay ebay prices for the set, but I'll go retail. Hopefully they'll be a place to store the chest in alt. mode, but it's not a deal breaker.

I may regret it if there's no new cannon to give Galvy his signature look.

I just got WFC Megs the other day. Thats one nice toy, and I'd love to get my hands on the WFC box set, but alas, ebay only prices for me. Going to see if I can pick one up at a comic con I'm headed to next month. If this set turns out to be good (hoping for a new cannon at least) it'll make a nice looking Galvatron.

I got WFC Megs when he first came out and Cliffjumper to be my Classics Cliffjumper, so this set is pretty much just for the ability to turn WFC Megs into Galvatron. Hopfully the set lives up to the promo pic. Still, it's a great TF all on it's own. Also digging Prime (which I don't have any version of). Gotta admit, BB leaves a lot to be desired. Not a fan of his tall, lanky look.

I was shocked to see two more sets at the Toys R Us I live close to and yet another near my girlfriend's house. If I couldn't find them at retail price I don't think I would have ebought them.

only saw it once in TRU here, and didn't have the money then. still, we got MP Grimlock restocked many months after the initial wave of them vanished, so who knows, maybe UK TRUs will have some again one day. I've long since learned not to expect anything from Hasbro UK.

Lol they are different drift has bigger vents on the side of his face but the face it self does look like blurrs it's more kind looking were drift looks angry idk but I love how Jin makes a ton of money on his customs but I've seen people with way better work and no one bid on their stuff how did Jin get such a good rep

Transbot Production have updated their facebook page with new prototype images of their upcoming Galvatron conversion kit for Generatjion WFC Megatron, The Mighty Gal-ver-tron. In addition to the new head and chest plate the set will also feature a new cannon. Images mirrored below.

Can't wait to get this but the TRU 3 pack Meg's looks better with this kit he has more purple on him

Same here, especially seeing it outfitted on my favoritest color schemes for that mold (I have them all, and that 'Darkside' ehobby version makes the others look less awesome when it is in their presence).

I'm in love with that mold already, so it really depends on how this set ends up looking and the color scheme that they choose, but if it looks good enough, I may get it yet. Of course, that also means I'll have to replace whichever Megs becomes Galvy (I MUST have a complete set of repaints for this mold ).

Yep, very true. Hasbro was obiously thinking Galvatron with the 3 pack TRU version given the color choices they made.

Perhaps they'll make multiple sets, one for each deco or something.

There's actually 4:

• Hasbro Generations
• Takara United (much nicer version than the Hasbro Generations above, though the color scheme is similar)
• Hasbro TRU 3 pack exclusive
• Takara United Ehobby 'Darkside' version

I've got em' all, and IMO the best are the two United versions. The color of the plastics used and paint apps really make that figure pop, though the clear purple cannon that comes with the TRU 3 pack is pretty cool as well.

Here's a couple more, apparently it attaches on alt mode as well to form an artillery of sorts.
