ok guys for my first thread i thought id be fun to make a list of some of youre fave mistakes and bloobers in the 86 movie ok so ill start :)

( they fade off when they enter the pit )

2 ultra magnus puts the matrex in his chest compartment twice

3 galvatron when he makes his i,ll distroy every autobot speech he dosent open his mouth and when he uses his fusion to fly in to the ship it the flame happens when he is halfway to the ship

4 starscream ask,s megatron is that you even trough he saw galvatron and cyclonus comming out of the ship

5 sticking with the ceromony (sp) half of the decepticons is playing instruments

6 when megatron blast a hole in the shuttle the hole is shows clear deep space yet the next screen has them ripping wires in order to get in to the shuttle

7 brawn is shot in the shoulder and dies ( unless he went in to shock )

8 hot rod holds his breath under water

It blows his back completely out, I used to wonder this as well until I got the DVD and could frame by frame examine the blast, it hits what could be considered his left pectoral and blows a larger hole through his back.

I've always had some thoughts on some of the mistakes. As to the rings before going into the Sharkticon pit: I always thought those rings were there to prevent them from transforming. Kranix didn't need them as I never thought he was a Transformer, just a robot. Ultra Magnus puts the Matrix in twice because it didn't fit right as he wasn't the one meant to have it. Lastly, as to why Brawn dies after getting shot in the shoulder, I like to think that the Transformers have a chip or something along those lines that controls their entire ability to live. Sort of like a brain or a heart, and Brawns just happened to be in his shoulder.

Now to my favorite mistake. Who didn't like Sludge's eyes popping out and returning to normal after getting pounded on the back by Devastator?

i like those reasons :) but how would the quins know that they are transformers ( i know faces of darkness ) but still kup and hot rod was created after the quins left cybertron so how would they regonise them

as for kranix well ok you got a point lol but still the rings really bugs me

no comment on the magnus one lol

saw the clip and pic but liked the idea of what you said about it :)

i enjoy debaiting so feel free to post stuff like this i know some people can feel uneasy because of the whole flame thing but post away

sludges eyes popping out was awsome never sure if that was part of th ehumour or not lol

can someone explain to me why hot rod aged during his rodimus prime transformation now that is anoying isnt it

It was just an aesthetic decision to further separate the two based on the fact that Rodimus is more mature (not age) in stature

Well, they are robots. And vehicles at that. Maybe they just have to exhale, like releasing exhaust. How else could Galvatron kill him by choking him?

Everybody (almost)seems to be concerned about those rings that kept Kup and Hot Rod bound as they were about to be executed. Well here's my theory:
Kranix and his friend probably didn't seem like a threat to the Quintessons. As for Kup n' Hot Rod, well, the squids probably saw them as formidable warriors. So they took safety precautions.

As for errors: The infamous Frenzy-Rumble dilemma, now taken to whole new level.
When Soundwave deploys his troops, there's two Frenzys, the other being miscolored Rumble. Then, Blaster counters with his troops, Rewind and Eject start swaping colour schemes.

And then Astrotrain scene. I know he size-shifts, but seriously, DEVASTATOR?!

A.looke closely, he was shot treew the part where his cheat meets his shouder

B.We never got any confirmation from within the narrative that Brawn died.

please, I know this sounds rude but I really dont intend for it to be taken that way.

If you read my post more closely you will see that I dont claim hes alive either.

I'm only saying we never got and "in story" confirmation that he died.

With the other autobots on the shuttle, we either saw them turn gray or we here, in dialog confirmation that they were dead.

In Brawns case, we saw him get shot and go down...thats it,and we saw that kind of thing pleanty of times in the series.

My (maybe incorrect) theory: Starscream and Megatron dealt with each other for so long (and Starscream plotted gainst Megatron for so long), Screamer knows Megatron like the back his hand, even if Megatron is reformatted. There are people some of us would know so well, we would recognized them, by their way of speaking, mannerisms, and actions, even if they had a entire body transplant :D .

Who can reaLLY SAY.

Some things go beyond the physical appearance.Starscream has been by Megatrons sude for over 4 million years.Maybe it was the way he spoke.

And I dont think you can draw such a solid conclusion from Eumbles words.
