Transformers 4 Michigan Filming Updates

We have a couple of "Transformers 4" Michigan filming updates to share. First, The Lansing State Journal is reporting possible filming on the decommissioned Coast Guard ship Bramble, which currently calls the Seaway Terminal home. Bob Klingler, the ships current owner, has been contacted by Paramount's production team about filming scenes on the ship. Nothing has been confirmed at this point, but we'll update when/if this materializes.

“We’ve been approached, and we sat down and talked, and we’re waiting for a decision,” he said.

“... If this Paramount Pictures thing comes and we get a call today, it’ll be a red-letter day. It’s such a historic and beautiful vessel. It’s just incredible.


Next, the Lenawee County's Daily Telegram reports that scenes will be filmed on section of M-52 between Weston and Mulberry Roads later this month.
