I should be happy about this reboot idea but im not.

Was really hoping for a new director's fresh take on this franchise.

First of all... you people are utterly hilarious. Its like you are all sleeper agents, and then someone says your key word "Michael Bay" and you turn into a frothing sea of anger and ludicrous statements. I knew there was a reason why I lurked/joined seibertron. Thank you.
Secondly, I will go and see the movie in 3D and buy the Bluray and enjoy the **** out of it because I am a fan of transformers, and more so, a fan of cars and planes that transform into big robots.
Thirdly, bitch all you want, the majority of you will go see it, So see you there fellas.

I will buy the figures also, because they are neato-squeeto.

on a serious note, a reboot so soon is insane. but the "re-imagining" has to be done considering they killed all the decepticons.

A "re-imagining"? A reboot of the film continuity is pointless without a new director. I stuck it out through the trilogy, but TF4 will have to do some things significantly different in order to get my attention. For now, color me unimpressed.

No pay to no gay!!!
When (hopefully "if", of course) new film comes out - just download it, if you wish to look at, but dont go movie, and no buy the dvds.
Just to make sure, that Bay dont get a bad idea, about how we are liked to be raped.

I did not want to post a long narrative but I have been a fan since 84 and moved away from the franchise as I got older. I got back into it when I discover alternators while shopping for toys for my son, being a big car enthusiast that line pulled me back in and my collection grew with alternators and masterpiece.

The first movie was not bad, but still had a ton of opportunity, I was hoping for more in the second installment, but left the theater saying what the @#$& was that. By the third movie I did not even go to the theater. I still have not sat down and watched the whole movie, I have only seen parts of it. What I have seen has all been really bad and really centered on people with the Cybertronians being secondary props (I saw the Starscream death scene)enough said.
I would really love to see something different, WFC was fresh and new and I like the creativity.
It seems like at least one third of the fan base (look at the post around here) is unhappy with the movie fiction. A reboot with Spielberg at the helm would at least been a step in the right direction (at least he is a fan of the franchise).

A reboot (check)
A new asthetic (You'll need to market new toy designs, right?)
A new director (it could happen)

And finally, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather see a return of Hot Shot than another army of Bumblebee.

You just can't resist starting a fight huh? Well ok. First of all; I think my Opinion is as valid as yours and I have every right to say what I think about Bay and his movies. After all this is my first post about this matter, so its not like I'm complaining about this in every topic. It's funny how everting what we who don't like the movie say is always ludicrious, hilarious etc. Why don't you smell your own thoughts for once. If you like his movies, fine. Don't expect that all share your taste.

Besides frack...for some of you Bay really seems to be next to God and Santa. He is not doing this for charity you know. He most likely won't care what we think of him, so you don't really have to defend him so hard. And I called him a douchebag, for some of his latest comments have been less nice and when I have listened his comments about his movies, he always seems a bit smug to me. But hey, I didn't know he's your dad. Sorry

lol... look, i'm pretty new here myself, but from two posts, you seem a little angry. I didnt even realize you said anything... to the point I just had to go back and read through again to find your post. I wasn't responding to you, I was just generalizing.
So to put it bluntly, I don't care about your opinion. I was making a generalized statement that whenever bay's name is mentioned a lot of people get their panties in a bunch.

Now, for the ludicrous statement thing... my point is proven with your last paragraph... Comparing him to God or santa, my father... just.. that whole thing. But I suppose its just you getting upset for the wrong reasons.
