No ... considering Eddie Murphy has gone PG as of late, and given how terrible his movies have been as of late, I really can't get excited over this bit of news.
So what movie more perfect to get him back into the R-rated crowd than the R-rated film that made him a star? Yes, I know the 1st 48 Hrs. came out before, but this was the 1st film with him in the solo starring role, I believe.

Yes, this is unfortunate, but it looks like a done deal. I understand Abrams not doing it, being busy with Star Wars and all, but why Orci? He's creatively worthless.
