Because if he was talking about the Dino bots which he's not. But they already escaped in FOC so it wouldn't make sense that the Dinobots escaped again. When I first watched this it did sound like he said the autobots escaped but if you listen closely its all static when he says who escaped. But he's obviously talking about the predacons or what ever they are going bye in the show.
I see. But, would it be possible that the Dinobots went to his lab? In RotD, Swoop is reforged into a Pred. They could've been pissed and trashed Shockwave's lab.
Still, he was talking about the Predacons anyway.

Predaking's foot only confirms the Preds. My money is on Slug, Sludge, and Snarl becoming Preds as well and then they, Predaking, Lazerback, and Ser-Ket join the lineup of Predacons in the show. Grimlock and Magnus could group with Team Prime, and the Dinopreds switch sides in the end.
