The only thing that ruins your theory though, my friend, is the fact that we've all already seen Shockwave's head on a pole on photos of the Chicago set...and he is indeed purple and has one eye, just how we remember him...

So i'm sticking by what i said, that it's Sentinel Prime, who probably crash-landed whilst chasing Shockwave, who can be found elsewhere on the moon...

You just quoted the bit I was referring to and not my reply which stated it's not Shockwave, because as we both mentioned we have seen his head already on a stick.

What if the TFs can't fly? In G1 they all could fly, trucks, cars, and all, and they needed a space ship. IMO, I think on Cybertron, if they where carrying a heavy load or somthing they would possibly use other vehicles, if their vehicle mode isn't big enough.
