Transformers Dark of the Moon's Megatron made a special quest appearance at the Hagerstown, Maryland Mack Truck Plant this weekend. The plant was having a 50th anniversary celebration and the modified prop truck version of Megatron was on display along with the standard version of the truck which is used for military application.

That is awesome....I guess if he transforms, he'd have no legs. :-(

Wow, the military version looks like KO compared to megs.

Military Version = Hasbro

Modified Megs Version = Takara

:P (Was meant to be : P but, the motions are mixed up)

Also, anyone notice how its the left windscreen on military version thats poking out, instead of the right like the toy? Do the windows extend out, or would it be like that all the time? :???:

I noticed this as well... thought perhaps the picture was mirrored for some reason? :???: Or perhaps for a legal purpose they may have changed it... not sure..

Its either that, or I'm guessing both windows can do that to improve visiability?

Nice to see what his alt mode looks unmodified. I'd love to know what Megatron was doing between RotF and DotM; he was obviously quite active, given all the odd details in his truck. I hope we set to see his trailer at one of these gigs.

A while ago someone at TFW took loads of pics of Megatron, inside and out (he's surprisingly tidy and full of bubble wrap inside), from another appearances.

what do you suppose the strike thru's are on the sides? Megatron counting the autobots he killed? one of those could represent Jazz?

Side note.. anyone else praying to Primus that we hear news of Transformers 4 soon... im going through withdrawal already... no need to rush this either with Unicron. This movieverse line is good for 8-10 movies the way i see it. Dont need to pay homage to G1 other than throwing in a couple of classic guys every now and then (Dino bots etc.) but im just fine with new guys for Prime to fight... Barricade, Bonecrusher, Crankcase, etc... they were all brand new and they were awesome! i would love to see a bad guy take on the guise of a stealth bomber. Keep this line coming!!!

I wish I could drive that thing around! If someone payed for the gas that is... But still, it's really cool; someone might want to fill up the front left tire, though, it looks a little low.

Why is it they never take the trailers out on display ??? Same thing with Optimus.

whoever sent those images in, thanks! Freakin awesome! A trailer would be nice too, but beggars can't be choosers.

This is really the only way to see Megatron unless you worked on TF1 and were on the same sound stage/set the 40 ft. tall frozen Megatron was. Man I would've loved to see this too. Also, I'd die if I saw the Rosenbauer Panther 6x6 anywhere. Sentinel Prime!!!!!! =P~

On Megatrons case: if he transforms without a trailer he'll be half the size and can't run away.

On Optimus's case: they don't want him to transform into Jetwing-mode with it and fly away.
