Tankor rocks. That thing is an uninspired piece through & through. If they'd actually done it as a Tankor repaint, I might likely sing praise, being a hardcore Beast Machines fan n'all.

There are just some molds that shouldn't be repainted and used for another.... I'm assuming it's another shockwave as hasbro lately has been good enough to at least give us a new head mold most of the time with repaints......(as of lately anyways) But seriously....Leave Shockwave alone. Don't cheapen it.

Seems like a pretty lazy repaint. Honestly, I like having a fleet of repaints. I love my assortment of Classics Sideswipe mold re-purposed as 4 other bots. But this just barely qualifies as a repaint. Its not new colors. I just can't see this appealing to anyone who has the first run Shockwave, which, IMO looks much better.

The best part about all the new DOTM toys is how much money I can save by not buying any of them. Ok, ok, so I did get all the basic Human Alliance figures, and Sentinel and Ironhide leaders, plus Powerglide and Blackout Cyberverse, and Laserbeak Deluxe, and Skyhammer Voyager, but who's counting? And most of those I bought on good discounts like the Target $10 off coupon or the Hasbro half-price Groupon.

The ones I'm really waiting for are Leader Megatron and Leader Shockwave, as well as Cyberverse Hatchet and all the full-size Human Alliance non-repaints. I'd love a Leader Blackout, but doubt it will happen. I'd also love a Voyager toy of that garbage truck, as long as he doesn't look like Long Haul in robot mode. But we'll see. Right now I just gotta pare back my collection a bit to raise the cash to allow me not to feel guilty for spending it all again.

Cool. I actually like that Shocky better. We'll see which one I end up with though.

And really guys? Do we have to bump a news article? I'd rather not have to dig through a week of old comments to find new stuff. And the concept art thread, OI!
