For anyone who likes the song in the trailer, it is by Puscifer, the track is called The Humbling River. The lead singer is a guy named Maynard, he has had some other little bands you may be aware of.

Just a small point to make to all the trailer's soundtrack:

The song is The Humbling River, by Puscifer.
Puscifer is one of TOOL's Maynard James Keenan's side-projects.

I understand and accept that people can have different views on music.
Even more so on what is fitting and what not, as it all comes down to subjective opinions.

I do not, however, agree that it can be classified as 'emo' (unless you mean emotional, at which point most music would fall under the same category).
There is some pretty tasteless stuff out there, but please - let's stop generalising.

they should totally make a tie-in movie with that level of CGI for these games. its gorgeous and just looks great. its kinda crazy when videogame cut scenes/trailers are better than some actual major studio movies.

speaking of CGI Transformers, Shout has the complete first season up for pre-order in both dvd and blu-ray and it does indeed include the 5 part Darkness Rising arc. it comes out in march.

Couldn't agree more. If there are any Final Fantasy 7 fans out there, they know what I mean when I say we need an Advent Children for these games!

This is as much tied in with Exodus as WFC was. The two are similar, but largely divergent. Though, this game looks to be a sort of adaptation of chapters 38-39 of Exodus, much like how Exodus chapters 16-38 were an adaptation of WFC. Don't think of them all as being one continuity, but as one continuity family.

Yep, that's made a mess of my undies.

The only thing that bugs me slightly is the similarity to Gears of War's style of trailers and ads.

cool trailer,the game looks like it's gonna be awesome. it looks like they can keep doing these games for at least a decade.

too bad we'll never get a pre-quel on cybertron movie in theathres.
