I like the FOC Combaticons (except Bruticus mode) because as the G1 storyline goes, the Combaticons were renegade Decepticons from Cybertron. I dont remember the exact history of the Insecticons on the G1 cartoon, but if I recall correctly they had landed on Earth a very long time ago when they assumed insect form. This makes insects on Cybertron stupid in my opinion.
