Mkall, I was just adding to what you said by reassuring others (who may not be in the know) that Kickback is getting a toy. My post was meant to complement yours, not stand against it.

Here's some better pics of it.

Bombshell looks cool but I really dont like those stupid pointed shoulder pads on Kickback. Ill buy these figures for kicks, but Fansproject really did a better job from a G1 standpoint.

Good thing these aren't the G1 Insecticons. ;)

Maybe it was, but it's not how I interpreted it. I fully support the education of the masses, but using me as the soapbox felt to me like you were attempting to correct me, something which you're rather infamous for.

I like the FOC Combaticons (except Bruticus mode) because as the G1 storyline goes, the Combaticons were renegade Decepticons from Cybertron. I dont remember the exact history of the Insecticons on the G1 cartoon, but if I recall correctly they had landed on Earth a very long time ago when they assumed insect form. This makes insects on Cybertron stupid in my opinion.

Game screen shots look cool. Toy wise though, kickback is unimpressive to me...hopefully hardshell will look better.

Edit: Nvm, I see what your saying.

Bugs like scorpions and such came from Arthropods, which were one of the first predators on Earth, so who knows, other planets might have had similar insect/crab like creatures to base their alt. modes of.

I'm curious what the backstory of the insecticons will be - I believe Shockwave was involved again, but might be misremembering.

The dinobots G1 story is totally inconsistent plotwise, since Wheeljack just somehow gave them "sparks" - but stunticons, combaticons, and aerialbots needed more extreme measures.

I would have liked to see Wheeljack stay responsible for the dinobots, but totally except them re-narrating their creation, just to get them in the game, and since their G1 backstory didn't make total sense :)

War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron are not G1 games, and most certainly don't tie in with the G1 cartoon.

These new Insecticons look a little to badass almost ;)

I really hope their toyslots won't get in the way of a good Arcee toy (if we ever get one). Other than that, I don't really have requests. Since they announced Bruticus and Starscream I'm all happy as is :D

Chop Shop's a different character. He's in Grimlock's level.

I think these look pretty good the more versions of the Insecticons the better, a new Shockwave and Insecticons (all 3  ) and the Combaticons that's more than i could have hoped for from hasbro... well other than been in the classics generations.
