hi,
I have just completed my Generation original 1980s Soundwave and his Cassette collections. This lot includes:

Soundwave with original box
Buzzsaw/Laserbeak/Ratbat
Overkill/Slugfeast
Rumble/Frenzy
Ravage/Squawkbox

and lasty the encore reissue Enemy figure

got Squawktalk/Beastbox for £60 today and got the others from another Soundwave won on Auction. Overall I am very happy with them. All original and in good condition with some minor issues mainly with frenzy/rumble have damaged springs inside. The rest have some chromewear to weapons atc...

I thought Soundwave also had a cassette buddy that turned into a gorilla? I don't see him here.

You're missing one, it seems :)
I'm not seeing Wingthing, the other new cassette that came with Encore Soundblaster.

Yeah yeah very funny

I only count the 1980s as his true Cassette minions, enemy was in the set I got overkill/slugfeast in and a little voice in my head said to keep him. So I did, I am actually rather pleased I managed to get all of them so quickly very lucky too.

Technically, Enemy would in fact count, albeit retroactively. In the Microchange subline of Microman, Soundwave as "Cassette Man" had these minions:

Red Condor = Laserbeak
Yellow Condor = Buzzsaw
Blue Condor = Garboil (e-Hobby)

Black Jaguar = Ravage
Blue Jaguar = Howlback (e-Hobby)

Blue Micross = Frenzy/Rumble
Black Micross = Rumble/Frenzy
Red Micross = Enemy (Encore)

The rest were all Transformers originals.

so what are you saying exactly? I am happy with the cassettes I have and don't want to spend more on them.

JZGR means that Enemy technically is the "latest" addition to the casseticons(unless you count the original Enemy that came attached with the radio(?)/voice do hickey)

The rest have been already released in one form in the Microchange series

And basically, for a very complete lineup of cassettes from Microman to Transformers G1, you'd only need Howlback and Garboil now. But that's the completist in me talking
