Transformers Generations Box Art Reveals Hoist and FOC Thundercracker

Transformers Generations Deluxe Hoist and FOC Thundercracker on the way? Based on the box art mirrored below form TFW2005 user Juise it would appear so. Hoist was a given after Trailcutter was unveiled at last month's Toy Fair and the announcement from IDW that he would be getting his own Transformers Spotlight comic. Coming as no surprise we see the FOC Deluxe Starscream mold in Thundercracker deco.

Additionally we see:

  • Transformes Generations Voyagers Blitzwing and Springer
  • IDW based Transformers Generations Deluxe Bumblebee, Megatron, Trailcutter, and Orion Pax
  • Transformers Generations Legends Optimus Prime with Roller and Bumblebee with Blazemaster
  • Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Optimus Prime
  • Transformers Generations Deluxe Impactor

Whooo, Fall of Cybertron Thundercracker! :KREMZEEK:

Seems Generations is the best line to collect this year!

And do mine eyes deceive me, or is that another new OP mold?

We see, in order:

- Legends Optimus Prime with Roller
- Orion Pax
- Beast Hunters Optimus Prime (possibly the Voyager)

And keep the cars coming, Hasbro!

I am not seeing Skids. It looks like Trailcutter to me, but the black looks slightly blueish.

Also it looks like Clayton Crain is doing all of the art work. I know he is doing the cover to the Hoist 1 shot, but this looks like his style across the board. Clayton is also doing the card art for Marvel Legends.

Why does Trailbreaker [cutter] have a Decepticon logo? They should fix that before the final product.

I agree, I was looking for Skids but only saw what looks to be Trailbreaker (sorry, old school)...

My 5 year old son just noticed this when looking at the picture of the supposed "skids" redeco. Anyone notice it has a decepticon emblem on it? It can't be skids. And yet, I feel embarassed that a five year old noticed it before me..... ;)

I don't think that's Skids, more likely Trailbreaker in bad lighting.

That Hoist kinda sucks too as it does not look like it would fit in w/a CHUG collection very well. Especially when he, along with Trailbreaker, will be the size of a RTS or Classics Bumblebee, but more hollow. Where is his tow package?

Okay, did a little edit regarding Skids. However this piece of art is different from the official imagery of Trailcutter. Different color visors and a Decepticon symbol? There's definitely a blue version of the Trailcutter mold on Metroplex's box art.

The art still looks kinda blue on my monitor anyway.

Yeah it would be nice if hoist had his little trailer like bumblebee and cliffjumper had their jetskis

Re trailbreaker Tho the blue and gun say skids, I think when they come to do a skids homage they'll focus on his being lanky and his doors becoming wings

My only complaint re Orion pax is the vehicle might be too earth like

I'd really like a new classics set of leaders at this point. I have the crumby deluxe op and galvatron as my leaders.. Never thought Meg's or voyager op were worth the expense...

Thundercraker again! When is Skywarp getting a proper retail release?

And for the toy Hoist will simply be a green repaint of the Trailbreaker mold pictured above.. I can live with that..

El Duque - Make it is Runabout? I think more likely it is Trailcutter and someone made a mistake with the emblem.

Crain is doing the cover (RI) artwork for all the Spotlight comics.

As for the Trailcutter Decepticon logo, compare the summary for his Spotlight story:

STEALTH ATTACK! Trailcutter has a problem: the Lost Light has been taken over by the Decepticons—and no one else seems to have noticed! Can the Autobots’ defense strategist singlehandedly see off an army of infiltrators? And even if he does, will it convince his crew mates that he's got more to offer than kind words and forcefields?

I love that thundercracker artwork. Every time I saw the seekers it boggled me at how they looked exactly the same except for their colors, but this time his face looks ever so slightly different to warrant calling him a different character; it's just great. Probably won't be reflected in any toys, but still, it's cool.

this generations line is looking sick as hell. the new beast hunters prime is going to look way cooler on screen than the older one.

What, no Skywarp?

Now that we have confirmation that they're (at least) trying to make FOC Seekers, I'll make sure to pick up Starscream when I get the chance.

Hoist was a no-brainer.

Blitzwing's package art.... That's one box I'd be happy to save. =P~

Blitzwing looks badass.

I just had a thought - what is the likelyhood that we will see a Springer Spotlight comic?
Oh, God, please let this happen!

You guys do know Thundercracker's box won't say Fall of Cybertron right?

He's being packaged with his spotlight comic.

It's still the FoC mold and the FoC character, that's what they're getting at. Don't be nitpicky (sheesh, look who's talking...).
