I'm fairly certain that Hoist not be an exclusive.
And why should it be?
I think some were confused by the fact that it was previewed first in the Collectors' Club magazine even though it was clearly advertised as a 'Generations' figure not an upcoming 'Exclusive' figure or anything.
It will be a retail release and there has been no indication from Hasbro or the Club up to this point to indicate otherwise.

indeed i was, besides i can imagine him as a rusty old vespa gettin bashed in italian traffic...
Megatron Wolf wrote:those look really good but i refuse to pay $16 for them. Well they'll probably be more since they cone with a comic and if i wont pay $16 theres no way in hell im paying over it. Wont pay more than $12 or $13 for a deluxe especially when they're of such low quality.

lol, i wasn't aware that waspinator's name was puginator in italian... i grew up watchin g1 in italian. prime was "commander" which made more sense to a 5-6 year old than "octipus prime"

Odd, as I'd rather have Hoist than Tailbreakercutter.

What do you mean "could maybe pass as" a stealth plane? It IS a stealth plane.

Yet, one episode after Megatron's return from his coma, Starscream was going behind his back trying to make his own scheme surpass and undermine Megatron. Then in the cave episode, he was going to leave Megatron to die underground before coming to his senses and deciding to go back for Megatron instead. It wasn't until he had gotten all four Omega Keys that he realized that he was nothing without Megatron.Mindmaster wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, Prime Starscream seems to have learned his lesson and matured out of his childish treachery to Megatron. Recall how in both "Darkest Hour" and "Rebellion" when he Megatron lying on the ground injured in both episodes, he demanded that Megatron be helped up and tended to rather than opting to leave the downed Megatron where he was at the mercy of his own injuries.Mindmaster wrote:If Waspinator is to take on any form of machinery, it's gunna have to be flight-capable. Waspinator without flight is like Starscream without his trademark treachery (nobody had better not dare bring up Energon).
To be fair though, if my leader somehow returned from the dead and continually gave me an ass-whupping, I wouldn't leave him to die and incur his wrath should he return.

maybe that's just evidence of how stealthy it really is?

I'm iffy about Bumblebee. It is good that they are trying a different direction with him, but all I see when I look at his head is Drift with little horns.

If by "different" you mean "the same since 2007", yep, he's going places.

Well considering the IDW Bee ISN'T the silent robotic-pacifier/kid-Appel character we have been getting sense 2007, " it's good they are trying something new" (or not bayformers).
