Brutal, Shockwave should tower over the rest of the Cons. Oh well, better than nothing I suppose.

My two cents now that I've had some time with them, Shockwave is more solid feeling than I imagined him being, much better than PRID Soundwave(who I returned),size was what was expected from pics but good mold detail and a few nice paint aps, Jazz looks nice scale-wise next to WFC Op, decent figure but a little loose feeling and limited leg movement, nice head sculpt.

I'm aware of that, here's a G1 scale chart that illustrates it:

My sense of how these neo-classics figures should scale comes directly from their G1 toys:

Flawed logic perhaps, but I have a feeling I'm not the only one who feels this way. Besides can we really trust the cartoon................ :D

Cartoon, no. Official scale charts, yes.

Though I see where you're coming from now. =D

Well, this morning the Target website says they are available at the Target near me. I am off to check, and will post if I get lucky and I find them.

I just went to a local Target because it showed the listing in the online tool provided in this post. However, the ones they found (after asking them to go to the back to get it) were old Generation toys (like Wheeljack). So beware, don't travel too far for these yet, the listing may be for old Generations stock they have left over and not the newer ones.

Hopefully none of you guys will get the same disappointment as me

he is a lot smaller, and "flimsier" than i expected. Like his joints seem weak to me, makes me cautious when transforming. I hope they release bigger stronger versions soon

A voyager toy might be a possibility.

Have you asked them to get them from the back? If you supply the sku then they can go in the back and retrieve it. It may be old stock like it was in my situation.

They may also be marked not to go out until a certain time but it doesn't hurt to ask.

:BOT: I was able to get Shockwave today. I used the link at the start of this thread and entered my zip code. The Target product page listed the new Generations as in stock/available. Asked an associate to retrieve it from the back since I had the DCPI #,but he said he could not do that as the line is set to be on the pegs starting on the 29th. Drove 9 miles out to the next nearest Target and had better luck. Associate didn't seem to care that it was only to be out on the 29th and he pulled Shockwave from the back for me. My experience is that each Target varies on the overall compliance of the sales associates to retrieve items from the back. My advice would be to look for a friendly demeanor on an associate before you ask. :BOT:

That would make sense if they aren't going up until the 29th, thanks for the info....

I think I will just wait.
