A monkey's paw wish? That's just golden. Thank you greatly, good sir.

ach, I'm probably guilty of the same thing myself. Frustration is too strong a word. It irks me occasionally. Glad I entertained though.

Yeah, but it's true. If you had been more specific, someone would have posted to mention that that Arcee is actually pink and white with three vertical red streaks on the left side. (I've no idea if it does, but you know what I'm getting at.) It's like we're in this constant state of trying to out miniscule detail each other.
On the other hand, if you reference Classics Kup, some days you'll get one hundred replys from people claiming they don't know of any Classics Kup becuase despite obviously being a Classics-styled figure, the card says Generations, so the average board member is totally lost due to such a gross inaccuracy. Just look at the whole Prime Voyager/Powerizer or whatever thing. People clearly know what you're talking about, but suddenly, everyone has forgotten 15 years of the Voyager size class because six months ago Hasbro tried to rename it, yet still prints Voyager on the packages.

Still made me laugh though, so I still thank you. :D

Im not liking that VOTL mode for Sandstorm. Just repaint the copter, give it a new head and leave it alone. Im not feeling the "Trailcutter" mold for Skids either. Hoist would work though...

Like! (I keep saying the forums need "like" buttons)

Couldn't have said it better myself. I think the vtol copter thing is a partially transformed flight mode designed in mind of a fan requested remold. Not like they haven't done it before.

Also, I'm guessing the blue guy on the box are is either roller or scamper. We should also keep in mind that it says the scale is for legends, (While prime looks like the wave three prime with the roller minicon, Bumblebee looks like the deluxe) so it might be that the figures we are seeing on the box are either legends or scout figures.

Great box art! Brings back fond memories of the battle scenes on the G1 boxes. Fantastic.

Hey, if it's VTOL, and it has rotors, then it passes as a good homage in my books. I'm interested in seeing how Sandstorm's retooled bits will look.

just to double check, but the Sandstorm entry doesn't match the TRU/GDO Scout class Sandstorm does it?

Good question.

Im wondering if thats not actually Sandstorm and maybe the legends class figure of Scamper that is suppose to come with Metroplex because hes got like a little helicopter pad and there aren't many Autobot helicopters. And another thing i was thinking when Hasbro promotes figures in the line don't they put it at on the smaller side of the box rather than on the front?

if sandstorm is a repaint/retool of springer, does that mean springer and sandstorm are now quad-changers?

So how many people are going to buy an extra Springer just to convert Sandstorm back into a proper G1 helicoptor ?

I saw Scamper during Hasbro's presentation on Saturday. Scamper is a black figure that transforms into a black car.

They did that already for the Animated line. I don't think it was super common, though.

They did a Blitzwing in Animated too, and we're getting him.

In the same page, when you look under "Transformers Fall of Cybertron", you get Arcee with a call number that is currently not tagged to anything. Maybe..

It's definitely leaning toward Sandstorm. Scamper was a 6-wheeled car, not a helicopter. It's not supposed to be a promotion: all the characters running around on Metroplex are part of his package art.

I hope they do Skids. Then we would have all the first 3 years worth of cars.

I hope they do Hoist too, but since I at least have the legends version of Trailcutter and Hoist, I'm not that desperate.

Arcee would be nice too but I have the Delicate Warrior which is a good enough Generations Arcee for me.

Good question.

There was a HtfD Sandstorm as a repaint of Legends Beachcomber as well.

I get the feeling they chose this altmode for Sandstorm since the helicopter of the G1 version would look too similar to Springer's own helicopter mode and they might have wanted to differentiate the two a little more.

Oh so Hasbro actually showed Scamper. I thought they might be throwing a curve ball and change him from his original G1 alt mode to something different. Because all that they have coming up with at the Toyfair seems way to good to be true

While I do like the looks of that aircraft mode, I don't like it much as Sandstorm. It reminds me too much of Lugnut.

But hey, if Hasbro wants to give us a triple changing Sandstorm, who am I to argue. Just so long as it's a fresh mold.
