No, these toys are aimed at children ages 5 and up, not collectors or babies. The red propellers however are a nod to collectors (as is this entire line). This figure is partly based on G2 Powerdive, which has (ba-dum-tss) red propellers.

G2 Powerdive actually had either black or red rotor disks, the propellers were purple. The black disks are more rare.

And great, I'm sold to another one. I wish I lived in the US already...

I gota say, despite the brutal lack of poseability in the G2 form, I found the alt mode and robot mode WAY more sick (in looks).

If everything was on a nice balljoint and a few little fixes were made (like the shape of the hands), I'd take the G2 version any day.

I like this toy, I just don't get it why they called him - and colored him - like G2 Powerdive, who was a helicopter, instead of making him a hommage to G2 Ransack, who was the first propeller plane TF...

Probably to avoid confusion with G1 Ransack, a Deluxe Insecticon. IIRC he's supposed to appear in the FoC game.

Wow. To think that I had a Highbrow figure already that for some reason, I didn't care for so I sold it. Amazing what some good paint/new colors can do for a figure. :-? :D

As a Neo G1 Collector do I need this character? I know nothing about G2 and my only connection to G1 is through the cartoons from the 80s. I'm also currently watching headmasters.
Who is this guy? TF wiki doesn't have too much info.

If you haven't collected any toys by the likes of Universe Skyfall (G2 Skyjack), RotF Fearswoop (G2 Hooligan), or even that blue DotM Sideswipe (G2 Go-Bot Sideswipe), I'd say you're not losing much by skipping him.

I might still get this guy, I fear missing out and having to go on ebay when i learn more about a character and decide I Want him.
Thanks for the info! did G2 ever aired in the US?

Not a big fan of this mold especially the arms. Well, I may change my mind when I see it in person. Well, if they SHOW UP in the store.

G2 never had a proper cartoon, rather it was nothing more but assorted episodes from G1 Seasons 1 and 2 with CGI transition graphics. New stories instead appeared in the Marvel comics.
