Now that they have a new event this week, they've moved back into the old cheer once a day method. If you played the last event, you'll remember how many medals they gave out for every boss. If we are already getting so many cards from ally pts, it diminishes the coolness of getting so many medals, hence they dumbed the system down again. That, or maybe they noticed they were losing money on the premium bridge because more ally pts equaled more rare 3 and 4 drops without having to pay.

Just a theory, the golden goose is dead either way.

Has a new event been announced? Can you provide a link to the info?

Been awhile since I played the game, definitely will be playing...my only complaint is last event (Insecticon Raid, I believe) I was bombarded with so many new cards that I couldn't claim the majority of what I had earned :HEADHURTS:

The new battle system is ... I dunno, i'd say stupid.

I'm suppose to now fight people that are 50 levels higher than me? And only stand a chance of earning 22-23 points?

They're seriously determined to limit us in levelling up our weapons.

Oh and suddenly my un-trans-scanned level 4's are now weaker than my trans-scanned level 3's.

Yeah I've been bad about getting on and playing but sometime between January and March there was some kind of update that almost makes a card game unplayable on my tablet. It loads insanely slow, battles run jerkily if at all (it sometimes clears if I hit skip). I'll give it another go for the event, but this might actually get removed from my tablet :(

Probably going to get rid of this app on my phone. I stopped playing as soon as it asked for my phone number, which was immediately. I don't want to get some random phone calls about cleaning my floors or something.

Let the androidm fanboys have this one. I nearly went and downloaded it on my mums aos device purely becuase I saw half decent G1 artwork. It was only when I looked closer and saw that one it wasn't my cup of tea and 2 haven't really heard anyone say anything worth while about it yet. I always hate it when people take an action based product, franchise or whatever it maybe, then re-format it into something stationary and more often than not, they have just re-packaged an existing game, and used something exciting to sell something not exciting. A transformers game should involve what makes transformers fun and thats transforming robots that fight.
WHat's so disapointing is this is the first G1 game in along time.
It's probaly not on ios as apple consumers don't just buy something on a whim. Just becuase it says G1 doesn't mean a concerning G1 fanboy is gonna automaticaly buy it. Apple consumers don't settle for anything, the apple sheep termonology is made up by people who have never used an apple product and have been stung by missleading advertisments in the past so have jumped to the assumption that this is another hyped product like all those before, but they are wrong.

On another note are there any pther decent mech games out there?
Watch out for Pacific Rim and GaiKing the movies this year if you don't know already!!!!

Apple consumers, like all other consumers markets, range from the very intelligent, frugal shoppers, down to the moronic, suggestible type that will by anything that is popular, niche, or mainstream.

Like all other consumers markets, some apple consumers will settle for anything, including buying the newest i-device that comes out even though they just bought the previous one, and will put up with any glitch, flaw, or software issue that comes with it in the sake of saying they own an apple product, which makes them better than other people in their minds.

The apple sheep terminology comes from a range of the people you described, all the way to the people who have used apple, have been disappointed and moved away from it because they generally weren't happy with it. Many of my apple friends that use and love apple call themselves apple sheep because they love the product and wear the label like a medal.

As for your last sentence about the hyped product, that's any new, supposedly awesome product that's ever come out. Some will like it, others will hate it. Absolutely none of them are wrong about it, it's all a matter of opinion.

Now to stay on topic, I really hope Mobage gets done making this for apple devices as soon as possible so all those fans get the opportunity to love or hate it for themselves.

I've used Apple products and i'm more than happy to use the "Apple Sheep" terminology. I've seen it in friends and acquantances who rush out to get the latest Apple product "just because it's the cool thing" without actually taking the time to do some research and discover there are other products out there that are just as good, or even better.

And then there's HTC. Just avoid that stuff.

Yeah you are right, I was just generalising. But my point was that people who buy apple products are generally not gonna be disapointed. Apple is not just a pretty face, they make the best computers and the best operating system, it's obvious th ephones will be the best aswell, sinc ethey are more or less small computers. But this game is packaged as G1 action, when under the covers it's not really the actiob I hoped for, and just becuase it's G1 I'm not gonna drop my pants and wait and hope. There doesn't seem to be much game under the hood here, and I want action from g1 not htis.

Apple does make a great product, as for the best, that's a matter of opinion. I've used and repaired Macs, Windows, Linux, Unix, and all manner of tablet and phones. My opinion is Windows is a far superior system for computers and small business servers. Android is the best phone and tablet for me. Although, I would recommend an iphone or ipad for any first user or average consumer.

I'm an Android user so I may come across as biased but I don't think I am. I don't consider myself to be a "fanboy". I just like to think that I use the better of the two products because its better, not because I want to fly an Android banner. Compared to Android, I think that IOS is restrictive and overly complicated. Its symbiotic relationship with iTunes is an annoyance given that iTunes is an utterly terrible program. Apple, as a company, is greedy and way too proud of themselves. Their refusal to make their products simple for the customers by implementing normal things like micro USB chargers, removable batteries, and micro sd cards slots for expandable memory just seems foul to me.

On topic, I'll agree, there isn't much under the hood of this game. I enjoyed it in the beginning. Its fun for a little while until its flaws become annoying. The recent changes to the battle system are game breaking to me. I don't quite know what the devs' thought process is concerning it but they have ruined the game. It was already broken to begin with and they just made it worse.

It will now take longer to earn enough battle points worth cashing them in. This will, in turn, make the process of leveling up weapon cards even longer than it already was, which was already too long! Also, since the BP rewards have essentially been "nerfed", your credits will eventually start to dry up without the big battle bonuses to boost them. If this event coming up is anything like the last one, players will see a massive increase in available cards for a short time. If those cards are used to level up other cards, credits will start to run out. Then its back to the days of selling cards to get enough credits to level or scan other cards. Which now slows down the bot leveling process as well.

Here is something the devs need to understand: A game that takes a long time to play because its challenging is acceptable. A game that takes forever to play because its overly tedious just for the sake of being tedious is stupid and boring. There is no challenge to this game. Its simple button pressing. There's very little challenge and very little reward. If the devs' only plan to increase the replayability of this game is too make it impossible to finish your deck or level up your cards, well then they probably should find a new line of work. Currently, pulling a rare or super rare card out of the space bride is nearly impossible and leveling up a single weapon card literally takes months. One card, 10 levels...months. Ridiculous!

I will probably play through the event just to see how it unfolds. After that, I foresee my self abandoning this game. In its current state, its not the kind of game that deserves the attention that it demands. I just don't want to spend 6 months leveling up one card and pulling class 1 Kickback and Red Alert cards out of the space bridge. I'd rather just find something else to do.

For those of you with iphones might I suggest the newly released Injustice: Gods Among Us IOS game. At early glances this game looks mighty fun and has what transformers is lacking, actual combat.

So far for me, the game is running really smooth. I've encountered several sludges from level 1 to level 5. Out of about 300 silver medals I've obtained the robot and alternate mode of the new Rarity 3 dirge. I've also gotten a rare 3 starscream robot, rare 3 shockwave alt, rare 3 jazz, and a few of the common rare 3 you can get from missions. Sadly, no rare 4 stuff for me yet.

Anyone else having good luck?

A little luck for me. The only new card I got was the event Dirge robot mode. Quite a few 3's dropped from my silver medals nothing of note though....level fodder for the Dirge.

I am very irked though the my event Hound from the last event is not doing 3X damage, unless I am just not seeing it added up. Can anybody confirm or refute that event Hound and Mirage are not getting event bonuses for this event?

Hound and Mirage had 3x bonuses only for the last event.

I have yet to see a level 5 boss yet. Only tons of level 1's and 3's.

My event hound is not getting 3x damage either, but i assumed it only lasted for the event it was made for.

I feel like the people who got hardshells, sharpshots, and mirages are going to be the people that have no problem winning the top 100 unless others pay out the nose for extra cubes and energy. 1st is already at 40000 pts. Ill probably win a snarl at best.

Also, this episode is titled part 1, maybe they have another episode that involves swoop and grimlock later. Or maybe it will just be called part 2 and 3 as snarl and slug (slag) are released.

I guess I am the fool here then. I assumed an event card meant that it could be used during event(S) not a single event. My event hound was the first card the I max leveled after the last event, hoping that it would prove useful if/when another event happened. Pretty much deflates the worth of the 3X dirge card that I pulled since it will only be useful for another 6 days. Yet one more stupid thing about this game....

I'm not saying your wrong about the "hardshells, sharpshots, and mirages" bit, in fact, you are probably spot on. But at this early stage of the event, the advantage that those cards provide is nil. I don't have any of those cards and I have had no trouble dispatching any boss with just a single cube. The best card in my deck is the event hound that is transcanned and max leveled. I don't have any transcanned 4's. I have no dominant, rare, or otherwise impressive cards in my deck and I have had zero trouble with the bosses so far. Possessing those cards with start to pay dividends in the coming rounds. But for now, the only way people have that many point this soon is if they dug into their pockets for more play time. More power to them, I guess. I certainly won't be doing it.

Did you notice that the cards from the last "event" have been renamed to "episode" cards as well now. My hound and 2 kickbacks are both relabeled.

Is this the same with everyone else.

I've not had any trouble with the bosses either, I'm just getting discouraged early. I really want a snarl as he was my favorite dinobot when I was a kid. Just nostalgia kicking me in the butt.

Something I noticed, I had 100 mobacoins by doing their "try it and get free coins". I noticed the event 3x/5x bridge had a sale of 100 coins for a card. I tried it and got another dirge, then quickly noticed the price went back up to 300 afterword. They really meant "1 time". Not sure if you could use it 10 times in one shot if you had 1000 coins. Can anyone who has spent more than 100 coins verify that?
