Well good luck to all.

I forgot that I had almost 400 explore energy refills, guess Im going to blow through those to gain a bunch of cubes assuming the rewards are the same as last, then get several explores back by killing a ton of 2nd bosses.

We'll see what happens.

Oh, I tried something with my phone and my wife's google nexus. You can, in fact, have 2 devices logged into the same account. Today I tested doing battles on one while exploring on the other. It was a little clunky because sometimes I would get a connection error on the device I would switch to after I started something on the 1st device, but it worked.

Remember when I was griping about playing the first 5 hours of the last event straight and I was at 100k while 1st place was at 300k? That's probably how. I'm not going to attempt it because I fear getting banned for cheating, if you count that as cheating. I guess if they allow it then its not cheating.

Has anyone else tried this with any luck?

Have an iPhone and an android tablet. When I play on one the other updates immediately. Careful doing that as I have read about data corruptions happening as a result of two device play.

Also good luck everyone. Not spending a dime on this one so lets see if top 300 happens again.

Well, tablet won't download the new updates but it's working on my phone.

Spoke to soon, got the mission screen to load once. Now it gets stuck. Yay.

Put my phone onto Wi-Fi to go through the work wireless, it's now giving me an error that it can't get new updates. Anyone else having problems with wi-fi?

So many changes. Go to upgrade and you can use 20 cards now OR TRANSMETALS? Wonder what those do. Also, when I use the upgrade and do 20 cards, I get +12. Does that go to stats?

So much stuff to relearn now.

Okay, the +12 just represents how many card beyond the first 8 you see. 8+12=20 max cards

hope divebomb and razorclaw can be gotten through the bridge with higher rate since you can't win either or their weapons anymore

Edit: Guess I will infinicube to get more bcs and then see what changes by the end of the event.

So I'm at work, as always when these episodes start and end. I just got back to my desk after a couple hours of handling business away from it. I haven't had a chance to start the episode yet and after reading the last couple posts, I'm not sure if I even want to turn the game on or not.

Ok here is what I've learned so far.

Weapons are easy to come by, however the gain for upgrading against cards has been reduced.... By a bunch. Seriously 40 weapons cached in and I moved one level on a weapon upgrade opposed to last week when I cashed in 5 and got 2.

Transmetals are what they are pushing for upgrades. 2 transmetals moves the XP more than 10 rank 2 cards.

Bonuses are applied to named cards for the hunt (Shockwave / DiveBomb/ etc.)

There is no bonus XP as far as I can tell on anything...

A deck of a minimum 4k will do at least 1.3million in damage

A deck of a minimum 5k (same weapons) will do easily that on one cube.

A deck of a minimum 6k (2.5 million give or take)

Boss Rewards:
Participation: silver warrior
First attack: small energon
finisher: battle cube
MVP : Gold weapon
co-op: Gold Weapon

rank points:
Rewards seem to be consistent. Credits / battle cubes/ Transmetal(or weapon upgrade material), Gold Warrior mednal, episode gold weapon materials

Farming weapons seems easier now. If you can two shot a boss you are almost guaranteed a weapon. 1 shotting the boss not so much

It seems like they are pushing for less of a character upgrade / max and more of a weapon upgrade max.

I'm not going to waste any resources on this. If I can infinicube or snipe, I will, but this will just be to gather episode medals for leveling and see if I can get divebomb and razorclaw for my cyberdex.

That is understandable. I'm hoping to place somewhere other than dead last this time. I would like to get a nice reward instead of the dead last stuff for a change.

Top 1000 should be your goal....otherwise you must get top 100 to be worth it.

I have never broken the top 10,000 I don't think.

FYI: 20 lvl 2 cards is equal to roughly 5 Transmetal (1:4 ratio)

I..uh...I.....I don't know what to say. Did anybody see the episode of South Park where Steven Speilberg and George Lucas rape Indiana Jones?......I think they raped our game.

I'm going to reserve judgement until the later bosses, perhaps the later bosses offer more cubes for rewards as incentive for people to battle them.

But as of right now, it just doesn't look good.

Anybody know why some of my cards have little, black stars on them and some of them don't?

I DO like how they made Shockwave a 2X card. It adds a little weight to the backstory. But thats about all I like so far.

Those cards you have done max level (leveled both the cards then leveled the trans-scanned)

There is currently a glitch with it however as my hardshell was MTM'd and does not have it.

Yeah, I thought I did all of my cards to the max level, but I didn't see a star so I figured I might have trans-scanned early.

If you MTM anything before the big February 28th update, it won't have the star because all those cards were broken and never got the fix applied to them.

Only cards that were MTM after the February 28th update will have the star.

I have 4 R3 cards left that were done before feb 28 just because I wanted to see if they would ever fix it and they have never done it.

Don't expect them to fix it either. Last event was when I got tipped off that for them it was about sucking their customer base dry rather than actually offering a quality product.

The changes made to the second episode boss cube drops, the jumping straight into another event before people can max out their prizes from the last event, bugs still not fixed and no trading feature, all told me that this game is always going to be sub-par.

It's a pity. Day of the Dinobots ran pretty smoothly and while Robots in the Sky happened a couple of weeks too soon for my liking, it was a well balanced event and the game, short of a trading feature, seemed to be heading in the right direction.

At that point I was happy spending some money on battle cube recharges in the end and the only event cards I was missing was a set of Sharpshots and a robot mode Mirage.

The Furies event sent that all to hell though. Dropping in a new event a day later and especially nerfing the recharge drops on Arcee (1 battle cube vs 2 previously for a second boss) reduced the game to a point where it had just turned into a money pit that was clearly never going to improve.

By day 3 of the last event, even though I was circling around the 700s, I quit and I have no regrets. The only thing which might interest me at some point is if physical versions of the cards are released or a book containing the artwork. Other than that, I'd rather spend money on actual Transformers tbh.

It appears that participation medals are also gone too. I just helped somebody finish a boss and all I got for my troubles was my cube back and a few points. Unless they just don't show them adding up after a battle, that is.

Also, I don't know if this was a glitch or what but I fought a lvl ?? Rippersnapper and I got 4 cubes for beating it. 1 each for first strike and finisher and 2 for MVP.

I dont think the ?? are glitches, just freebie fights to replenish cubes. I get 1 about every 15 or so fights. Saw a alot of firestars like that last episode.

Really wish there was a wall or something that showed what every update contained, like a patch log or something.

I wonder if I could have some advice from you more experienced players of this game

I'm very new to the game and this is only my second event and I want to know what people would do in my situation. From the last event I gained a firestar in both forms and I've understood MTM ing is the best thing to do in the long run so I'm aiming to do just that. I also have both forms of a mirage and both 3x dive bombs from this event to MTM. I have 43 battle cubes stored from the start of this event and I'm finding that I can 1 cube at least up to level 3 of the first boss (I haven't met anything higher yet).

I have lots of medals currently so no shortage of cards to upgrade with but the problem that I've found is that my alpha tokens have run out very quickly trying to upgrade my firestar.

So what would people do in my place, sell off level 2's and weapons gained from the medals in order to upgrade now, or let this event pass me by a bit and wait until I gain the credits needed to upgrade from exploring and selling level 1's?

Doing much better this go round than last. I like the weapons options. I've maxed all but two of the weapons my squad is using currently. The Transmetal instead of using bots options is nice too as long as you have the Transmetal laying around. I shot to the top 400 last night though woke up this morning and I'd dropped into the 2400s, before I headed into work I'd managed to get to 1300 or so.

As long as you can finish the fight you start, you should be ok on cubes. I haven't dropped below what they granted me yet, but I expect that to change as bosses get stronger. A few of them I've had to two cube because I haven't leveled up my 4's from the last event yet.
