And if he did any damage at all, then he helped me get my points. I don't see anything wrong with that. You are trying to add competition into a non-competitive game.

Nobody "wins" this event. The top prize goes to, what 100 people?

What could have been better is that the bosses could have been controlled better. As it was, whenever a new boss appeared, the previous boss(es) were almost completely shutoff. When Hardshell appeared, Kickback practically disappeared entirely. When Sharpshot appeared, I didn't encounter a Kickback at all and Hardshells were rare.

The bosses should have been scaled to your level. If you were level 2, then Kickback should have been the common boss with Hardshell and Sharpshot being uncommon and rare as applicable. Then, when you requested help, you should be grouped with people closer to your level. That way bosses don't just sit out there for 45 minutes and then get away.

Yeah, I'm fine with the awards system as is. As far as the event is concerned, the award system was the least of the problems with it.

Agreed, which is why I stepped away. With one battle cube, I don't do much damage to any lvl Sharpshot. Which means that I have to depend on a lot of help to get my points and medals. It was fine on the first day. But by the second day, battle cubes were running dry for most, and the support disappeared fast. It wasn't worth my cubes to even try at that point.

Then please explain to me why anyone should bother leveling their cards? Whats the point? The game call the bosses "Raid" bosses. The only games I know that have raid bosses require some sort of level or gear check to be able to participate. I can put the game down for now, when the next event starts up I can have the same low level cards, join in the event and earn the same rewards as any high level guy. It makes no sense.

But I did lose something, I lost the ability to kill the boss many many times. When you request help to fight a boss you have a limited list of people who can aid you in battle. The game notifies you of which random people have been selected. I have been in battles with 6 people total and all five others total combined damage was a fraction of mine, and I used only one battle cube.

You are stating the same thing I said. Lower levels don't belong with high level players, they belong in their own tier and after leveling appropriately they should be able to move up to the next tiered boss. This is why in the current state of the game giving the low level players the same rewards takes away any motivation for them to progress, and ultimately brings down higher level players combat capability.

Sure there were glitches galore, but nothing motivates someone to put in effort more than loot. If you can do absolutely minimal work and receive the same rewards as the higher leveled guys who have put effort, well then you might be a communist.

Edit: I should clarify...Im fine with the final awards of the game and how its sent out to people who fall in certain ranks. The rewards for combat is my beef, and I feel the way it has been established has certainly cause me to fall lower in the award ranks than I really feel I should have been. At the end of the day we are talking about electronic cards of our favorite topic, but when I get invested into something.....I get invested.

Yes, I am saying the same thing because I agree with that part of it, just not from a rewards perspective. I'm approaching it from the gameplay perspective. The way they executed it, the event was essentially crippled after one full day of Sharpshot. Since Sharpshot was too tough for the majority of players and since Sharpshot was the boss you encountered 90% of the time, more cubes were spent by everybody to earn the points and the medals. Cubes ran dry faster than the devs expected, I'm assuming, and the event slowed to a crawl. What fun is an event that can't be played?

If the bosses scaled the way we both agree they should have been, we all would be winners. Since there would have been more available cubes for people to play with longer, we all would have had more loot. Sharpshot should have been the final 24 hour boss. End the event with some excitement. As it was, there were too many Sharpshots too soon and the last two days of the 6 day event were boring.

I'm with you. Honestly, I'm not disagreeing with you on this issue either. I just think that based on the kind of game it is and how it is played, the awards system is minor and not really worth changing. I said I was fine with it the way it is. I don't think it takes away from the game the way it is now. But I don't really care one way or the other. I'd probably be fine with it your way too.

Man what a disappointment. Went from 100 to 500 when Sharpshot came out. Then fought back to 442 with the spotty cell service with one hour to go thought I would have been fine for the 442 and get nudged to 508.

Were you saving them or something? Why didn't you cash them in?

I played my event perfectly. I stopped fighting bosses a day and a half ago when my rank was in the 620's, when all of the support died off and it was apparent that I wasn't going to be able to improve into the sub 500's. I finished with a rank of in the 940's and ended up getting the same reward that a was in line for a day and a half ago when I stopped. Thusly saving all of my battle cubes for the next event. I'm satisfied.

Well it seems the majority of you guys all ranked pretty well. Well done.

Before the event went down a few weeks backs I had managed to get myself ranked in the 290's which I was pretty pleased about but only went back to it a few days ago and was ranked well into the 7000's. I pulled it back to place 4723 so I picked up a kickback this morning. And I also managed to get a 3x trans scanned Hound out of it too so it wasnt all bad.

I ruined my chances when I used up all of my extra battle cubes for battles during the hiatus the event took.

Well, at least somebody did cause I sure didn't.

It also appears that they made right on the rewards that were handed out to some when the event was first shutdown. I guess some got rewards and some didn't. Well at the point of shutdown, I was awarded both forms of Kickback.

At the official end of the event, I qualified for both modes of Kickback X2 and his weapon. What I got was one new set of Kickbacks and the weapon. I did not get a second new set and I'm assuming the first set I got counted towards my final reward. It appears nobody was over-compensated unless somebody out there can refute this.

The 1st day I was able to get myself to the #2 position, if you were playing the campaign previously you got to keep your previous rank, mine was 10 I think.

I never had to use more than 1 battle energon to beat the bosses, so I had 100's of them, I started to use them to level up and further progress in the game, fighting more bosses and getting more medals. Id have to use at lest 50 battle energons to level up.

Then the game changed, the bosses got tougher and it took me more than 1 battle energon to win, I started slipping in rank big time. My worst was 130 or so.

Then I worked my way back, assisting others and maxing out my characters, my ending rank was 28 which im pleased with.

I know i put in hours and hours, to anyone that ranked higher than me, you obviously got nothing done at work for that week, because I didn't, lol.

I hope card trading in this game gets enabled soon, from what I understand its present in the Marvel game. I have at least 10 event hounds, an extra Metrolplex-4 and Optimus-4, along with a Prowl-4 and Mirage-4 that id love to trade for their alt forms.

I got the same, i got a full set of everything when the game shut down. My reward this time around was another full complete set, but not x2 of the characters advertised, which like you im assuming would mean 2 full sets of those characters.

Anybody else just refuse to keep duplicates in their deck? If I get a good card that I already have, say a class 3 Thundercracker, I'll feed it to the other card for leveling. I won't play the game or battle with two of the same card in my party.

Also, I'm curious to know how many battle points I put out. If you happen to battle me online, please post how many points I was worth and whether you beat me or not. I'm currently a level 62 player but generally consider myself a weak 62 as I level a lot of cards and don't focus on a team. I also don't transcan until both modes are at max level. Therefore, there isn't too many max level or transcan bonuses going on in my deck.....yet. I'm sure I'm pretty beatable and I'm guessing I don't put out too many points. My in game name is same as here.

Yeah I use up duplicates as well. Truth be told, I used up that rank 4 Trypticon because it was a rank level 4.

Worst thing to happen to me was to pick up a rank 3 Event Hound card. That thing is **** useless but I can't get rid of it. Ever since I got it I lose more battles than I win and I had a lovely win:loss ratio of about 600:30. Now it's about 700:100.

Spent the last two days of the event cashing most silver medals and buffing all the cards I wanted to max. Got a trans scanned Mirage and Hound, with an extra Mirage robot mode and two Hound robot modes. Buffed them all to max and was able to place 42.

Had over 1,400 gold medals and 300+ silvers left. I hope they give them back soon. Didn't spend a dime on it either, was just damned lucky with my silver medals and how the bosses gave out their rewards. Still have a pile of 1/2 energon and battle cubes.

Just want me medals back now to buff the rest of my cards, though I notice that I didn't receive 2x Hardshell or kickback cards, but hopefully Support will get them to me soon.

Yeah my won/loss ration has dropped a bit since the end of the event. I've just attributed that to people have better cards and higher levels post-event. The event Hound card is worth leveling and keeping around soley for the next event.

I look at it this way: The cards (I managed both modes) may be useless until the next event but in the next event they will be really useful.

Here the list of stages that have specific boss battles so if you are looking for a specific weapon, this should help out. Each stage screen 2 and 4 has an opportunity for a boss fight to earn that specific character's weapon.

From the World screen:

Lower Autobot Symbol
Upper Autobot Symbol
Lower Decepticon Symbol
Upper Decepticon Symbol

Each time you select one of the previous options it opens up a sub-menu that has that factions symbol in three locations. These will be identified as:

Bottom
Middle
Top

Each time you select one of these sub-menus it brings open a stage screen with five stages and a main boss fight.

Stages are 1-5 with a boss fight as stage 6. Weapon bosses occur at stage 2 and 4.

Mid 2 - Megatron
Top 2 - Slipstream
Bottom 4 - Shcockwave
Mid 4 - Megatron
Top 4 - Soundwave

What was your reasoning for hoarding them? The game only gives you the cards 10 at a time anyway. Saving them up for some large number thats any more than 10 seems pointless to me.

Anyone having trouble with the game loading and eventually playing?

Mine takes a while to load, and when it does, it pretty much just hangs before I can do anything.

Anybody else notice that they were being short changed on Ally points? I had suspected this for a few weeks but never bothered to pay close attention. The other night, I managed to get exactly 1000 points. I cashed in for 10 cards and reset my point to zero. Now, everything I have seen has indicated that one ally was worth 10 points. I had 51 allies. So after a 24 hour period, I should have had 510 ally points for cheering all of them. However, I only finished with 490. I am certain that a full 24 hour period elapsed. I am also certain that there is no math error, since I started with zero points. Can anybody else speak to this? Is the cheer period for allies longer than 24 hours that anybody knows?

Side note: How annoying is it to be trying for cards to sell/level and you get 7 Swoops (Swoopses...Swoopi?? :???: ) in a row instead? That crap drives me nuts.

Side note #2: Has anybody figured out battles yet? Specifically how it is decided how much BP are given for an opponent. Battles seem almost completely random sometimes. Sometimes I'll get aggressive and try a 40 point opponent and win narrowly. Other times, I'll play it safe and battle a 20 point opponent and have the tar kicked out of me. Or I'll find a 30 point opponent that I beat easily twice but the third time I have my ass handed to me. I just don't get it. I am also losing more battles at a higher frequency since the event ended.

Those are my thoughts for the day.
