I think I am just done playing this game. The other night I figured out how the game determines battle points awarded and it just pissed me off.
Until recently I was unaware that battle points awarded to you are based on YOUR deck of cards, not your opponents. Basically, the better your cards are and the more favorable you match up with your selected opponent, the LESS points you are awarded.
I found this out the other night after I had used my battle cubes. Then I realized that I forgot to spend some cards. So I spent and leveled up my Kickback. By the time I was done with that, I had earned another battle cube so I went to spend that too. I noticed that some of my opponents, who I just battled, had their points reward change slightly. I put 2 and 2 togther quickly and realized my Kickback leveling up had impacted the points reward. So on a hunch, I cashed in some bronze warrior medals that I had been saving. I replaced 3 of the cards in my hand with the 3 lowest cards that I got from the space bridge. Then, when I went back to the battle screen and I saw that reward points jumped dramaically. People that were giving out only 25 points were now giving out 44 points because I made my hand crappier.
Immediately it ticked me off. I rationalized this particular aspect of the game as the game punishing you for playing it. You get less points for playing the game and making your cards better. Whats the point of playing then?
Weapon cards are already overly tedious to level up to the point of ridiculousness as it is. On top of that, as you level up your cards, it gets even worse so. And, as it turns out, there's no point in doing it because the game rewards you more for going into battle with a bunch of lvl 1 Huffers instead of the good cards that you worked to level up.
The glitches and general dumbness of certain parts of the game have killed my interest in it. I has hoping to put a good deck together to be more competitive in the next event. Now, I just don't care.
