protip: don't waste any time upgrading L1 and L2 cards.

I upgraded 3 l1 cards primarily just to see what the difference would be when you use upgrade say an l3 leader card

For example, I upgraded the leader off of 1 bone crusher, then a trans-bone crusher, then an upgraded bone crusher, then an upgraded trans-bone crusher and recorded all of the upgrade points.

I'm pretty much over this game. Very little variety and gets repetitive far too quickly.

I've been stuck in areas where its harder for me to play HMW easily and easier to play this.

I have been traveling pretty much most of this year since about maybe March or so. I prefer playing from my laptop, but while in airports or hospitals I'm stuck to my phone or tablet if the hospital has Wifi. The hmw game on this site is payable, but the load times and site design don't really make it mobile friendly. I run ad blockers if it gets really bad on low bandwidth areas, but try to avoid it since I try to support the site were I can

A few thoughts on the game.

The prices for the "bought" cards are ridiculous. I threw $10 at it just to see what I would get, and also to support the people that made it. Stupid. One card for 300 gold (or about $3 worth) is utterly insane. If it were a Booster Pack where I got 10 cards I'd probably send $50 on this puppy tonight. LOL sue me, it's my personality and I really like the game a lot. But for 1 card, that's insane. I took my 3 cards, have 100ish gold leftover I might never spend now, and moved on. I'm sure they'd make more money giving more "bang" for your buck with the Booster Packs, but I guess that's not their business plan.

Second, as someone mentioned, don't level your Rarity 1 cards, or probably even Rarity 2 cards unless you think you'll just play for a few hours. You'll end up with level 7 or 8 Rarity 1/2 very quickly, and those leveled cards aren't as good as throwing the cards individually to level up.

Bounce back and forth between both factions as your get your Autobot weapons from Decepticons missions and vice versa.

If you pick someone for good battle points that you just beat, look for them in the list again. There's a good chance they're there, and since you just beat them 95% chance you'll beat them again. There's only a little bit of randomness in the battles. I've never lost a "rematch".

Anyways, some of that might be known/obvious/wrong. But there's not a lot of info out there about the game and just throwing my 2 cents in as to what I've figured out.

Also question for everyone playing, at least picking Autobots as your main so you got the "head start" there.

I got the Sword of OP pretty much right away. Level 4 Elite weapons card. Everyone that picked Autobots got that I assume and I just didn't get "super lucky", correct?

I found that Battles up to ~60 BP are "Safe" for me"

I haven't seen any L4 weapon cards yet!

I did get my L4 Megatron fairly early in the game and as he's doing 12.000 damage per shot (he's L61 out of 65 now) you basically win every battle that doesn't include L4 opponents.

I haven't seen any level 4 cards at all....

No you didn't do anything wrong you just didn't get lucky with your space bridge activations. I got ops sword from one of the times I activated it right after signing up. Other than that I've gotten no rarity 4 cards.

I got Megatron and Prowl as elites, both (coincidence), through the buddy points.

DownshiftG1 on legends. got heavily boned on rarity cards until I got trypticon and now he's unstoppable. Ha ha ha. I think the best weapon I have is grimlocks sword.

I don't see anything on their website about the insecticons. Saw the add last night on Facebook, clicked the link and still no luck.

Question:

When playing a mission and you either win a rare card or a weapon do they show up in the mission list? I've gotten doubles and triples of lv3 weapons and they never shop up as "acquired"

You need to restart the app (not suspend and resume) it should show up then. or what I did, play 1 extra mission after a restart and then it will update the mission spoils.

That's pretty poopy of them to say "Hope you're all enjoying the game, here's a limited time event!" when those of us with iPhones are still waiting for the game to come out.

It basically replaces the boss encounters in the normal missions (the ones where you get weapons.)
The rewards are huge (2K per battle, recharge energon/battle cubes etc.) and the points you score decide your reward at the end of the event.

I think the ultimate reward is an L4 kickback.. I just sent out my cons against him and Megs one-shot him.

I'm sorry, but I'm honestly getting sick of this. It's one thing to prefer one phone over another, and it's another to mock it. Respect our choice like we respect yours.

The event is nice. Except that the recently fixed lag is now back, most likely due to the servers being overwhelmed.

Regardless, the rewards let you refill everything like crazy, which is the most important thing to me. You can basically scan and battle non-stop at the current races bosses show up and give rewards.

The cards you can "buy" or "get" have a special 3x or 5x on them but I think that will only last during the event. The cards are uber powerful right now though.

Every boss you defeat you get about 4 silver medals and 2 battle recharge cubes. after 3 battles I have about 30 cubes to spend on attack bonuses etc. remember, I one-shot kickback :p
