Ooh, that scaling is fantastic. I was worried Star Saber would be a bit out of place and would be hanging out with MP-2 Magnus instead of MP-22.

Sadly I can't see the picture while at work, but I'm positive that Ultra Magnus will get a U.S release at some point.

I'll be shocked if we don't have him by the end of next summer.

All of them are, save for the pic of the accessories on the very bottom. The rest are all from before Takara announced the change to the legs.

Edit: Actually looking at them again, I think the only new one is the alt-mode pic with Sideswipe, Prowl, Bumblebee, and Smokescreen on the trailer. The rest are all the old ones, just I think cropped to make the figure larger or with the background cut out.

Honestly I couldn't care less about the leg colour. This guy looks awesome. Good to see Magnus finally getting the respect he deserves in toy form.

Yeah, who cares if his lower legs are one color or another, or if there's no white Optimus cab inner robot, or that his front bumper is cartoon-accurate red, or that he's a bit taller than he ought to be, or that his gun isn't solid white, or that he's a bit on the bulky side, or that he has a big butt flap; this thing rocks!

I honestly can't tell if that was sarcasm or not (autism doesn't help). I do see your points though.

With the butt-flap, I'm pretty sure Ultra Magnus has one in the cartoon anyway, and honestly it isn't that big a deal. It kinda looks like armour to me, and is pretty tame as kibble goes. Optimus inner robot...honestly I'm glad they left it out. Trying to integrate an inner robot would probably turn him into a fiddly partsforming mess, and he doesn't actually have the inner robot in the cartoon anyway so eh. Gun I'm on the fence about; I can't remember if it's cartoon-accurate or not (haven't seen any of season 3 and have only watched the movie a few times) but I think the colour works TBH. Red bumper does look a bit iffy but it is cartoon accurate so given this is an MP they didn't have much choice in that regard (also if they had it silver people would have complained). As for bulkiness/size/height, he looks about right to me, but then like I say I haven't seen any of season 3 (although like evry Transformer IIRC he tended to vary in size and shape depending on the scene).

Really I think this is about as good as it can get. He still looks pretty amazing, but honestly I think we should wait for reviews before we cast any opinions.

Success! Twas designed to look like sarcasm, but was really sincerity.

I gathered all the criticisms the naysayers have given about this figure and basically said "So what?!"

Ah, right. Crisis averted!

Though, one critique I can agree with (but it's really a minor nitpick) is that he is a bit taller than he ought to be, being about two to two-and-a-half heads taller than Optimus instead of just one head taller. But that's not a knock against the figure, just a factual observation.

Indeed, and one that is hard to rectify given the alt-mode scale consistencies...

And I'll agree, that is one friggin' awesome figure!

(And I so want to take that butt flap comment from Delta Magnus out of context... )
