And yes kenrabat ..its the jin. What of it ..is it because its him. I cant post that its him who is proudly posting on amazon.co.uk patting himself on the back. I dont care if he's judd nelson. Hotrod himself. Unless your directly affected by price because its your business. Its a jerk move to go all corporate. I put less blame on amazon for cancelling the figure and most likely not giving any discounts to those that preodered it beforehand.

First, as a company, you dont want to lose millions. Imagine a car dealer listing the new hot car at 5000$ instead of 50000$ and you can bet your ass the dealer will cancel all those pre-orders. I just wonder WHY the hell some citizens had to call Amazon on their mistake instead of noticing it themselves.

Second, I looked deeper into that Jin incident.
Wow.
Jin confirmed for master troll.

And even if jin saotome's post in amazon.co.uk is a fake that he never did contacted and corrected amazon. He is basically saying he's too good to even order one because its a great deal and making fun of those who lost out. By blatantly taunting in the official amazon.co.uk he's acting so noble so self righteous. Paying scalper prices to him are nothing to him..and rarity doesnt mean anything because he's got connections. Those who ordered from amazon we didnt steal anything we didnt set the price. Mistake or not it is in poor taste to cancel order on those who ordered and not even get some discount by the company who is selling it.

Jin trolling aside, I dont agree on any discount. A mistake is a mistake and noting was paid and shipped yet.

HOWEVER,
One thing I would do in Amazon's shoe is to make sure everyone who have pre-ordered any MP-10s still had one on their pre-order list, to make sure they can have theirs. That would have been a cancellable pre-order, of course.

Is there an actual working link that doesn't require me to register to see these alleged comments by Jin?

I'm shocked and appalled by all the entitlement babies that have come out to have a cry because of the pricing error. Did you really think you were going to be able to order a £100 figure for a third of the price? Upon seeing this listing and the incredibly low price I was hesitant so I called Amazon UK's customer service number (0844 545 6508) and inquired. It was only after I directed the lady to google's shopping page showing her that the figure sells for anywhere between £100-£170 did she acknowledge something was off and that she would inform her supervisor. I even called Hasbro to double check and while I didn't get a department that handled Amazon.Uk I was told that MP-10 would never be sold for that low of a price by any retailer and there were no active discounts for it. They suggested I should not place an order and they would let the appropriate parties know of the mistake.

I can understand if you were in a store, the item was on the shelf mis-priced, in the system wrong, and you brought it to the checkout when it scanned for higher. Most stores honor the lower price. But this is an ONLINE STORE and Amazon to boot. They change prices all the time. Someone may have thought it was a Weaponizer Prime, or maybe entered in their net price instead. You didn't drive to a store and get turned down after waiting 10 minutes in line, you clicked a button. All online retailers can change their prices if a mistake has been made and it doesn't cost you anything.

What the majority of people complaining fail to realize is that if they did honor the pricing mistake the loss doesn't just magically go away. A huge loss like that would force either Amazon or Hasbro, perhaps both to raise prices because their board members aren't going to accept a loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars just like that. We'd see price hikes on other items we buy and everyone ELSE would end up paying in the long run for the cheap Mp-10 YOU purchased. I'm sorry but I wasn't going to just sit on my thumbs and let scalpers and entitlment babies get away with that.

If it seems to good to be true on Amazon then call them first and confirm. This will save you a major headache later and keep prices low for everyone.

For those who are now feeling contempt against Jin, you're meaning to tell me that integrity is now a bad thing? Really? Have we really gone this low? >:oP

Consider this scenario:

You walk into a grocery store and find several items listed at normal price. You take them to the cashier and she mistakenly rings them up for a lower price. Will you have the honesty to tell the cashier that there is an error, or will you be one of those who takes advantage of the cashier's mistake and say nothing and letting the mistake stand, possibly causing said cashier to lose her job?

I'm with Jin on this one: I applaud his honesty. ;)^

Gotta love 1st world problems. I couldn't get my toy with my disposable income, whinge whinge whinge. Tell that to those less fortunate than us. Transformers are a luxury, not a necessity, it grieves me that some people blur the lines.

How anyone see Jin's comment as trolling/ hates him for telling Amazon about it boggles my mind. All I get from that post is that:

A) He saw MP10, a 100 buckish toy being sold at a ridiculous price of $30++, his WTF-radar tingles.
B) Decides to inquire and confirm if it's really that cheap, which is a natural thing to do for such a crazy deal. If it turns out to be true, orders will obviously be placed.
C) Amazon realized they'd f**ked up, cancelled all pre-orders for the error, and apologized.

So tell me, how on earth would that be Jin's fault when there could be over 9000 people around the globe who did the same thing, and not be bothered to write about it on the internet?

Considering the outroar I've seen regarding this error about how Amazon should at least honor the deal for those who pre-ordered; did you guys really expect them to operate at a lost? All you've done is proving that Jin's right. >:oP

I don't think that one batch of toys is going to hit Amazon's Bottom line hard, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if this is the actual cost-price of the item for Amazon.

Jin's response on Amazon reminds me of the kind of guys in class that would make sure that the entire class got extra homework before a holiday just because he is the one reminding the teacher that he didn't plan this one exam yet.

I HATE that kind of guy... because they are the same kind of people that, when your country gets invaded, he runs to the Nazis to tell on the Jews, because for a Nazi, that is a decent thing to do.
