i just got it and finished it and there is a big big reveal about that senator at the end we finally can give him a name -it will surprise you -it also i think is part of this ongoing story i think will eventually tie both comics together at some point but i know who it is now and oh boy its a big one

i LOVED that preview.

ive been waiting decades for someone to do a story on the "superpowered" transformer so got a real kick out of the xmen like comparisons going on here.

i havent got the book yet , and im probably WAAAAY off base, but the more i look at it the more i think the senator is ultra magnus .

simply because the change in character from friendly to hard ass would seem a natural progression for the guy and add an aditional layer to the prime magnus relationship that goes beyond "brothers"

class stuff.

I still think Tailgate is one of the best characters.
He stands in for new readers, or just confused readers, reminding everyone that all the events discussed are not, as such, a given.

But the end is.. WHAT?!

Is anyone reviewing this issue? Want to see what other people think.

i got mine early and i didn't know what to say when i saw that -its a total twist -i have to wounder if this is some sort of long term set up they have been planning -with the ore 13 going that far back i have to wounder if there isn't some sort of master plan hidden that we have yet to latch on to and i have a feeling that there is something else going on -as in there might just might be a third force involved manipulating the transformers -im starting to feel that way things seem to have a pattern that draws them all together

The War Within series ultimately had manipulators behind Megatron's work, I hope they don't use that trick again.

I mean, I do enjoy the fact that with Drift, Wheelie and Orion Pax (and to an extent the Nails), the writers are acknowledging and exploring the world beyond Earth and Cybertron, but I'd rather they avoided the Quintesson solution, or variations of it.

I'm still in awe at the final page.

Loving this book. Seriously one of my favourite Transformers comics of all time (the recent DJD 2parter particularly, although Shadowplay might beat it once I re-read it in a single sitting) and one of my favourite current comic books. (not fave current TF comic. Fave current comic of any kind. It's up there with Hawkeye.)
