Pre-orders have appeared for the Transformers Movie Premium Series Leader Class Megatron and Optimus Prime have appeared at Entertainment Earth, confirming that both figures will get a mass release.

This follows our earlier report in the week about the Premium Series Deluxe figures also getting a mass release.

Premium Series Prime will come with a new weapon, a retractable blade, as we reported here, and a resculpted head, whilst Premium Megatron is also expected to have a resculpted head.

Does this mean a resculpted Prime's head will show his shiny lips and tiny teeth?

Well that’s good, maybe I can call up the rest of my Scalper legion troops and see if I can start limiting how many of these you people can find because I’m the evil scalper! with my army of scalpers secretly placed among each state and even Canada …

I'm not too happy about this habit of Hasbro squeezing every drop of juice out of the same mold over and over again.

Me too(actually I picked up Voyager Megs but that's a differnt figure) I think I'll wait for Megs to hit stores though

Eventually, this scheme could work against Hasbro.

People will be holding back from buying the initial releases. (Which are critical for the success of a toyline.)

Please, that Megatron mold doesn't deserve to be released again. But since I didn't get him the first time.. i'll probably do it this time.

This "Megatron" is the shiny silver one right? If it is im getting it. Since i didnt buy the first one since it was so damn ugly.

I want to see what these guys look like before I commit money I don't have to them.

I doubt they could make them much more expensive than they allready are for the european market (prays that they arrive here too) so I'm looking forward for them.

I remember when I used to spend 30 bucks on single disk new release dvds like a chump.

dude, these looks nice... epsecially prime's sword!!! I got a question though, so I was gonna pick up a leader prime for 20 today.... but I saw this, so should I wait until these come out?

Does Megatron have anything else going for him besides a new head and coat of paint?

Out of all the Premium figures I'll only get Prime, Ironhide, and JAzz if he's mass released. Mind you as rip-off as the Premium concept it at least they're releasing Prime and Megs at mass retail.

If I recall Jazz will be mass released, except in a three pack with Masked Bumblebee and Barricade.

Well we all know that Hasbro is milking the success of the First Wave of Movie Toys. And since I doubt there will good success in the Animated line, as well as lines leading up TF2, then this Premium line is all Hasbro has to make big revenue.

This Premium stuff is a 2nd chance for me to get figures I wasn't able to get, so I guess it's good. But then again, Hasbro's lack of shipment to retail is the reason I didn't get those figures in the first place.

True true, the problem is that I'm in Australia and I'm not sure if we'll be getting the three-pack (one can hope though). I'm sure the mass release figures will be released individually over here, and I'm happy enough for that.

How much are these Premiums going to cost?
