Egad! This game is so random! I can't make heads or tails of the system that generates each combination. And the three different decos coupled with the wide range of color saturation only further complicates matters to an
insane amount of designs.
Madness. Pure unhinged madness.
I LOVE IT!

Someone over at TFW seems to figured out the system:
Red = Hun-Grr
Orange = Laserback
Green = Grimwing
Blue = Predaking
Purple = Blot
1st = Head
2nd = Arms
3rd = Legs
4th = Body
5th = Wings (if applicable)

I guess it's meant to be Vertebreak.
Amusingly, putting Cutthroat/Windrazor in the "arms" slot (the 2nd one) results in an armless beast!

Since Windrazor has no arms, putting his CNA sample in the arms slots results in a Predacon that has no arms.

How do you get additional CNA samples?

By exploring Shockwave's lab.
