Jeez, that's ugly. Hopefully they won't make him look like this in the show. O_o

Hasbro can't be serious with this crap, can they? I mean...he's an eyesore!

I can't help but disagree with the negative comments on this figure. He looks to be pretty good to me. Colors aren't the best, but the figure itself isn't bad. I think it gives Starscream a more commander-like appearence. The weapon obviously uses a lot of plastic that could have gone to Starscream. But seeing him stand next to RTS Jazz, who is a pretty big deluxe, Starscream looks pretty nice.

What? Why would Hasbro do this to one of the best looking Tramsformer figures ever? Whoever thought that this was a good idea needs their head checked,

Horrible on every level.

A better question is what are you talking about? Beast Hunters Deluxe Starscream is a new mold. We never got the figure before. So how could Hasbro have done something to "the best looking Transformer figure ever" if they didn't have anything to do something to?

This isn't First Edition Starscream. Two different toys.

QFT! I had the exact same reaction...which was  . What were they thinking? I don't think these colors will appeal to any kids and few collectors.

I've posted on other threads about this figure and how much I dislike the colors. However, after seeing this review and how he transforms I really dislike this figure. He's too small, the colors are terrible and finally the transformation is horrible. All he does is fold in half and they in no way made his arms or legs part of the jet's fuselage. The weapon is ok, but how it attaches in alt mode is pitiful. I realize that a lot of other TFP jet's have obvious robot syndrome from below but this is just plain lazy. All of the engineering here is lazy, uninspired and boring. It's like there were just trying to fill a spot or something. Ugh.

I'm usually much more positive and try to see the good in a figure (even if I don't plan on getting it) but this doesn't deserve to be called Starscream. I truly hope he doesn't get this treatment on the show.

The only good thing is that I can save my money by not getting him. For the two people out there that like this guy, I would wait until he goes on clearance (which he will) before picking him up because most people seem to dislike him as much as I do.

His jet mode really reminds me of Beast Machines Jetstorm. The mold doesn't look terrible, but the colors are pretty nasty. A new paint job and I think he may be salvageable.

better than that first edition piece of crap, if it wasnt so small it would be a great figure. Robot mode looks good and the alt mode is pretty good except for the leg placement, is it really that hard to figure out a way to incorporate the legs into the jet mode? Still its better than how they did it with the FE one. The coloring is pretty bad as is the weapon but at least it looks like a transformer & not a tim burton reject. If it wasnt for the $16 price point id get it.

This is one figure I hope will get a repaint in the future so i can buy it. Weapon suck but i can easily toss it or give to a child or something. I kinda digging the mold tho... I just want called it SS. It remind me of TransMetal Terrorsaur then SS

Despite the horribly garish yellow, the jet mode isn't bad.

That weapon though... so unsightly and too massive to store on his back. I'm going to have to find some place to store it so I can display him without it.

Unless posing him with Soundwave makes him look better, he's staying in vehicle mode forever.

Well aware of that. It is a evolution of a character, they have have taken a well designed figure that looks less like a toy and more like a collectable action figure and run it through a redesign/recolour department run by a 5 year old.

Yay! More figures with stupidly oversized weapons!

Ugly in every mode from every angle.

I really don't like this figure as "Starscream". Give it a better, more uniformed color scheme, change the head and I think it would work a lot better. I dunno, maybe make it into a Slipstream?
