Well that was quick! We already have our first retail sighting of Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Deluxe Wave 1, which features remolded Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Soundwave, and the brand new mold Laserback. Not only that, we also have new Transformers Bot Shots Box Sets featuring the Stunticons and the Autobot Polar Assault Team. The Stunticon set is comprised of Motorbreath, Dead End, Dragstrip, Brake-Neck, and Breakdown, while the Polar Assault Team is made up of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jetfire, Ironhide, and Mirage.

All were discovered at a Toys"R"Us location in Southern California by Twin Cast, who images have been mirrored below.

Whoa, didn't expect Bot Shot Stunticons! Much less in one convenient package.

Where are these magical, wondrous stores that sell anything other than bumblebee?

He's still the only toy I ever see outside cyberverse.

So, Stunticon names: Motorbreath we all came to know a few months back, but I didn't recall them losing "Wildrider"; I guess that explains scout Dead End in Wildrider colors.

And only Drag Strip gets the Decepticon-prefix? So the lesson learned from the PCC "Spaz-attack-team" debacle was...just don't ever change Drag Strip's name. Gotcha.

Now to see if anyone interprets "Polar Assault Team" as a slur against people with bipolar disorder. Any members of this team up for repurposing besides Bug Bite?

And the 2 most pressing questions: will Wheeljack also have the Falcon Punch, and will it be possible to cram the FOC disc-guys into that launcher?

The Data diskicons are definitely too thick.

I don't even like Bot Shots that much, but that Stunticon set makes me happy.

1. Falcon Spear.
2. Wheeljack's the only one with a Falcon Spear.

Agreed. Not risking getting sucked into Bot Shots, but that set wins my award for "2012 toy I'm never, ever considering buying whose existence nonetheless gives me greatest joy".

"Wildrider" was used for the BotCon 2011 Animated Stunticons, but that may have been a lucky fluke. They originally lost the name few years back when Spychanger Stunticons were solicited: "Wildrider" became "Wildracer".

And Drag Strip had the prefix for his Universe 2008 toy as well as Human Alliance. PCC Spastic Over-Run was meant as a deco homage, not as G1 Drag Strip. Not that that gets in the way of repurposing though ;)

And Beast Hunter already?! Good thing I'm planning on going on hiatus in preparation for my move.

Same here. As cool as this Wheeljack looks, the deciding factor will be if he looks like that in the show or not.

Fellow Canadians, be ready to see the Beast Hunters figures either in two years or never. Like the goddamn TF Prime wave 2 and over.

I actually saw the Stunticons and the Polar Assault packs while browsing my local Toys "R" Us for MP Thundercracker and Optimus yesterday. The Stunticons were interesting, I admit, but there's nothing in this world that will make me buy a single Bot Shots figure. >:oP
