This is the movie. Just the movie. Season 3 was not called "Predacons Rising".

So despite having a "-con" suffix, Predacons aren't Decepticons?

I guess since there were Mini-cons, this seems okay, but is a more difficult pill to swallow.

The Decepticons cloned a Predacon from fossilized remains. The Predacon soon evolved to the point of transformational capability. In fear of a Predacon revolution, the Decepticons destroyed the remaining Predacon clones in breeding and framed the Autobots, leaving the evolved Predaking at odds with the Autobots and of Decepticon allegience.

Later, Predaking learned the truth, and was exiled from Decepticon responsibility.

Also, the original Predacons predated the Decepticons in this continuity, as they were a prehistoric race of Cybertronian wildlife that existed long before the regular Cybertronian race did.

There's also the bit about the Predacons being their own unique race, whereas the Decepticons are just ordinary Cybertronians having taken a political/militaristic faction name of their own.

In a way, the Predacons are to the Decepticons as dinosaurs are to the human members of Al Qaeda. :P

Them Predacons look sick (really good). I can't wait to see this TFP finale. I can't wait to see Grimwing. The Grimwing toy is Great. I can't wait to get my Ultimate beast fire Predaking. And I'm hoping there are some serious battles in this movie. I'm talking Autobots losing their sparks or like how Ultra Magnus got his hand permanently seperated by Predaking, lol :shock:

ohmygodicantwait! Prime is easily my favourite version of Transformers so far, even more so than the old UK comics, which is saying something. I mean, easily the best incarnations of Soundwave, Shockwave, Ultra Magnus, Megatron, etc., ever.. or should that be.. Galvatron..??

It's kinda weird seeing a trailer for Prime done in Movie styling.

Is it just me... Or is there a chance that Megatron looks like Sharkticon Megatron? His head and some other body designs seem different. But too dark to tell. If not, it makes me wonder why they remold the TV show design without a toy to sell.

Wow, was I just seeing things or did I see what it looks like Megatron turned into Galvatron. This movie looks epic. I can't even imagine what's going to happen after remembering that last last shocking episode of Transformers prime.
