I imagine Cybershark's issue with Cyberverse is that he seems to take his collecting seriously. I imagine that most of his collection stays in the box and sits on a shelf, which is just fine by me. My collection, on the other hand, is in constant turmoil. I am always taking toys off the shelf to play with them because I just can't help myself. If I never played with my Cyberverse figures I probably would have missed the whole point of them as well, since they don't look that impressive in the package. However, just because I like the cheap, fun toys doesn't mean I'm going to rant and rave about how unnecessary I think 3rd Party stuff is. To each their own, man, stop running the stuff I like into the ground.

And on that note, I am completely over-the-moon with excitement for these Terrorcons! I just bought the Sky Claw and I have to say they really knocked Smokescreen out of the park. If the Terrorcons are in keeping with the current rate of improvement in the Cyberverse stuff I can't even imagine how great these will be.

Yeah exactly. I normally hate modern beast transformers but I really dig these new Beast Hunters figures. I love Cyberverse and these monsterbots are a perfect example of what can be done in that line.

Captain Magic. You are right I DO take these seriously and that is why I get upset lately with Hasbro. Do not get me wrong I think the Terrorcons are really cool. However I wish they would have put that effort into a deluxe or voyager size of them is all. Sure I will try to buy this set because it IS Abominus after all. And all the individual figs. look kinda cool.I fully understand why you would collect only Cyberverse now, they are small and cost less and take up less space. I was telling a friend a few years ago that if Hasbro was smart they would expand the line and continue to make them. And try to make them in scale to each other, that way they could really have some cool Combiners and other larger Transformers like Six shot, Metroplex, Fort Max, etc. And make them in that smaller scale only massive compared to the other cyberverse toys. And would fit in more easily compared to trying to get a large figure to fit in scale with the regular figures, etc.

And as far as me keeping all of my stuff in package you are partly correct. I used to buy 2 of almost everything, 1 to keep sealed and stored away(because I have no room) and 1 to open and display. However since the release of the movies I have had to cut back since there was just too much product to buy, I couldnt keep up with 2 of each on the last movie. Plus I've run out of room, lol. I am also Not "running your stuff into the ground". All I did was voice a complaint at Hasbro.

And Im no big fan of 3rd party stuff. I HATE the price of it. BUT after the last 2 years and this next year 2013. These companies are making people open their eyes to just what can be made and accomplished!! And some of the stuff is UNREAL!! Hercules was great, Perseus was cool, Uranos is cool so far. Giant was fairly cool, Menasor is looking decent IF Motormaster can be sweet (no pics of it yet), MMC's Predaking looks UNREAL!! And that is why I am upset because I would rather be throwing my money at Hasbro and paying less because Hasbro can charge less for the same product if they want to!! They have a much larger base and can sell to Wal-Marts, K-mart, Tragets, etc in much higher quantities. I just want like EVERY BODY else to have badass Hasbro toys some day. Not just a decent Abominus made for Cyberverse. Or a decent FOC Bruticus that is kinda cool, and kinda Not cool, lol. So Please Hasbro make a Computron now to at least go with the Abominus!! Then a Piranacon then a Monstructor to go with it!! We can only hope right??

i was excited about this really i was but they look dissapointing iam not going to judge a book by its cover but really a lot of them look like they have the cheetor transformation ( ripper snapper blight or blot cutthrot ) hungger and sinnertwin look like the more intresting one

ripper snapper is my fave terrorcon and was wishing for a up to date version for some time so when i saw him in baltmatrex toy fair vid i thought wow looks awsome seeing it up close well dont look a gift horse in the mouth in my veiw

cutt is maby the most dissapoing one for me the idea for transformers is that you cant tell from alt mode to robot mode yet the wings is the arms do the same for the legs as sinner and bring up the head from the chest or twist it round the design is nice dont get me wrong but its very much a let down for me

blot blot just looks like its a up to date version of his g1 toy only more colours transformation looks awfull fold back the ape body to reveil head and the rest is simple ( fold back hands ect ) ( makes a good apeface trough lol )

abominus looks like a mess of parts even if that is the prototype is dose not look good at all

now dont get me wrong iam only judging these from the pics and from what ive seen i may never know these might be a awsome set just wish it was done in the combaticons style thats all
not one fibre or fibre optic shall go untouched

In all fairness, they -are- straight updates of the G1 versions, and with the exception of Hun-gurr, they're effectively the same size class, taking a 25 year difference into account. Sooo...your objections are a little unfounded, we're talking about the smallest size class, and they all look pretty good. The paint apps are great too, especially on Cutthroat.

They would be more advanced in larger size classes, of course, but considering that they are tiny, turn into beasts and still have individually articulated arms and legs I'm mostly positive to them. I do think that it would've been more interesting for the wings to become legs instead of arms, though. More solid judgement is reserved for when we get better pictures and reviews start appearing.

Right now I just want to find an ebay seller that doesn't charge massive shipping so I can finally order the terrorcon I'm least interested in.

To elaborate, I mean that we're dealing with Cyberverse Legion class. You can't expect complicated transformations, it's just not doable with the small size. And they're straight updates of the G1 toys AND they have to combine.

I believe I'll be picking these guys up, I've had Twinstrike on my desk for the past few days and have had fun playing with him, his molding and paint are great. So I imagine the other four to be no different really.

I'll admit Abominus himself doesn't look the greatest but the individual bots as a team look good enough to make up for that. But that could change when we get better pictures later.

Also, Allow to add more voice of reason if I may, I believe almost ALL of us would be greatly impressed and possibly astounded if these toys came out in a voyager/deluxe size BUT there are many factors that keep these guys down in size.

First, the much discussed cost, Hasbro simply cannot afford to make every toy that size and thats basically it.

Second, The release of figures in a given wave are premeditated, and there simply isn't room in the coming line up of deluxes and yoyagers we've seen to fit in five new characters. Besides add the five to Cyberverse knocks out some of what would have mostly likely been repaint of other figures otherwise.

Third, these characters haven't been seen in 20 odd years so testing them in today's audience on a small scale is a much safer gamble on Hasbro's part. The large majority of the target audience have no connection to these toys and introducing them at a price more parents can afford is a good to do this. Also depending how they sell Abominus could open the gates for other old combiner teams; Computron, Defensor, Menasor etc.
