Well, my favorite Beast Wars combiner (other than the mighty Magmatron) is Tripredacus/Tripledacus, and he doesn't have proper hands either. I guess it all depends on how well they pull off the whole non-human hand thing. Some do it well, others do not.

I'll see how these guys look combined in-hand when I get them and decide for myself. When posed properly, even the strangest of appendages can often look pretty cool.

It's also cool of Hasbro to throw us collectors a bone with a homage to a combiner/team which hasn't existed since 1987. There's no way kids today would have any idea who these guys are supposed to be/homage (unless they have TF fans as parents who have educated them on G1).

I think I'm ok with the whole no hands thing since it's a combiner made of "monsters" and is meant more to destroy. One other thing, we've only seen this one pic, we don't know how it looks from other angles, or if it's combined correctly.

:D I don't care about all the negatives, it's another combiner to add to the collection so I am more than happy. That is if we get it in the UK. You can gripe in the US but we get bugger all over here unless we pre-order from specialist stockists. Anyway I'm not starting arguments. I'm just looking forward to this as I didn't collect many TF's in the 80's, and they've long since disappeared, not on a ten year olds pocket money.
Maybe one day the UK will get the same access to Hasbro products that the US gets. One can dream

My favorite part is "if you take everything I said as it was written then your missing the entire point!!"

Two exclamation marks makes it sound very over bearing, and very very whiny. Also, someone get this guy a few years of past threads to read through, maybe brush up on what he thinks he's talking about. Always a new guy willing to tell everyone else how it is, then when someone calls him on it they spew more garbage from what they think they know of the fandom and of Hasbro themselves.

Idiot rants like that are why I seldom post here anymore.

Are you serious?? 2 EXCLAMATION MARKS!! WHAT, WOW that must mean it IS OVERBEARING!!!!<---What about 4 of them?? See you "hyper" sensitive forum frequent persons just cannot handle anything can you? You say "Idiot rants" implying that I am an idiot and You "hardly post anymore"? Coming from a guy with over 6000 posts? Please kid, Hyper sensitive Nerds :-B on here like you is why I rarely comment on here myself!! You THINK you know EVERYTHING and if you are "challenged" you feel the need to try and put somebody else down, and try to belittle them by saying that they must not know ANYTHING!! Especially if they do not frequent the forums and "LIVE" in them 24/7 like yourself does!! Because You know YOU must know everything, right? So Rather then make suggestions about the problems, frustrations, opinions, highs, lows, or whatever the persons post may be about? You would rather pick it apart and act like a tough guy? How about the saying your parents should have taught you when you were a young kid "If you dont have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all"? So how does it feel being on the other end of being belittled?? :CON:

I know how they operate, budgets, tooling, deadlines, regulations, factories, the list of things goes on and on, etc. THAT is NOT what stops Hasbro from making good product and selling it at a good price and getting it sold here in the states. Its the idiots in suits that look at numbers only and know nothing of the actual line or the fans or the collectors, buyers, etc.

You're right. When I put forth my apparently insulting suggestion that larger companies are more rigid in structure and smaller companies are not I assure you the intent was to bring up a point, not start an argument.

What really prevents Hasbro engineers from putting out a truly good toy are the suits. Designers log thousands of completely superior designs that are ultimately rejected for being too expensive to produce. The constant feedback of "Hey this is awesome! But can we make it cheaper?" has resulted in designers churning out toy designs with one hand on the drawing board and the other hand alternating between reaching for grain alcohol shots and unsteadily holding some type of revolver to their own temple. Designers do this while crying, as visible tear stains on designer documents (yes, even those in .pdf) are what really pushes the toy design through. And the suits laugh. They laugh at the designers for their broken minds. They laugh at the Chinese for their deplorable work conditions. And then we, the consumers, are laughed at because we buy the toys.

Moreover, the suits sit on these superior designs; lovingly crafted for fans by fans, and wipe their asses with both these superior designs and our money.

You and your paranoid ranting has shown me the way. I can't wait to go home and get in a fight with my 1/6 scale organic Steeljaw. Thank you.

Cybershark wrote:Hell any one of us in this forum could probably come up with several legit ideas that would work that upper Hasbro management in the Transformers brand hasn't even thought of, etc. Sometimes in business the object is not to make as much money as you can right away, BUT to invest into a LONG term plan of attack. And you do that by compromising a few things. You want a good example of that? Look at what Marvel did with their Comic movies, they linked them all together and made them come together in one of the largest movies of all time! And it payed off and it will continue to pay off if they keep giving THEIR customers what THEY WANT!!

It's all good to give customers what they want, but a "LONG term plan of attack" sometimes means you have to cash in quickly on what's hot in order to afford employees and not get rid of them as companies will do instead of sacking higher paid executives. If you wish to change this mentality, then please take your ranty wisdom and apply it to the toy market. After all, "any one of us in this forum could probably come up with several legit ideas that would work that upper Hasbro management in the Transformers brand hasn't even thought of, etc."

See, another "Know it all". I already said I understood the concept and how it works, already? What about that did You not GET? Do you like to see yourself type, talk, try to look smart, etc? For those saying I need to quit ranting, etc. I am simply responding to the trash talk I'm getting. And if some of you didn't act like immature, sensitive know it all's I would stop, lol.
I have every right to come on here and talk, comment or complain about the OP as you do. I also have every right to come on here and DEFEND myself when I am being questioned or talked down to, without threat of being "banned". And once again to the guy that said "Grow Up" to me?? REALLY, I guess he must have forgot what kind of forum he was on?

Well. Honestly, they probably do. It is basically very difficult to come up with a description of CEOs etc that is worse than reality.

Hey guys, I have been lurking around here for a long time and I felt compelled to post about these guys. I have taken to collecting Cyberverse figures almost exclusively because they're so much fun and I don't have much room in my apartment for display.

I imagine Cybershark's issue with Cyberverse is that he seems to take his collecting seriously. I imagine that most of his collection stays in the box and sits on a shelf, which is just fine by me. My collection, on the other hand, is in constant turmoil. I am always taking toys off the shelf to play with them because I just can't help myself. If I never played with my Cyberverse figures I probably would have missed the whole point of them as well, since they don't look that impressive in the package. However, just because I like the cheap, fun toys doesn't mean I'm going to rant and rave about how unnecessary I think 3rd Party stuff is. To each their own, man, stop running the stuff I like into the ground.

And on that note, I am completely over-the-moon with excitement for these Terrorcons! I just bought the Sky Claw and I have to say they really knocked Smokescreen out of the park. If the Terrorcons are in keeping with the current rate of improvement in the Cyberverse stuff I can't even imagine how great these will be.
