Mold looks BH like, so it suits me, but the translucent parts on him look like he's neon.

I hope Takara's version shows better detail on him, like a show-accurate Star Saber that's blue, and darker colors.

Whoever said "Shut up and take my money!", don't do it for this guy...yet. Wait for Takara to release their versions of the BH toys (I hope they look more superior )

ill get him for my collection of primes ,but something is realy odd with his face...i think hed look better with the old rid head...nice to see the star saber...

Sure thing. I'll just dive into my Scrooge McDuck money bin and grab the pocket-change necessary to import the convenient-to-purchase Takara one.

Bot mode looks good, but the alt mode sucks........

You know, with a repaint and maybe a head swap with ultra magnus or someone, this mold might make a good prime version of motor master.

This mold needs a coat of purple. This would be a great Shattered Glass Aligned Universe Optimus Prime.

Those shoulder pads and his general beefiness are more reminiscent of PRID Megatron, though.

This guy went from 'NO F@!%IN WAY' to 'maybe'. I don't like where this is heading.

I use to like this Optimus very much, now a bit less. I was hoping for a more g1 not spikey Gundam combat version. It has the classic/simple transformation. If only the windshields were bigger and the spikes on the shoulders were detachable + normal face.

Wow, he looks quite good - way better than the first pictures of him.

Interesting, I wasn't keen on this figure when first saw him, but I must admit he is growing on me.

Call me crazy, but this figure screams "Cybertronian Optimus Prime," which is awesome since it looks like we'll never get a Voyager version of the FOC figure. I'll use this as my pre-Earth Prime.

Still not sold until I see the sides and back of this toy.

Starting to look very tempting, though.

It's probably going to look pretty bulky from the side, but it shouldn't call too much attention to itself since the toy itself is a very bulky figure. I guess we'll find out once the toy hits retails and we start getting reviews of it. It would also be biased of me to overlook FOC Grimlock's dino-head back kibble and not BH OP's back wheels.

More than a few nods to the Animated look.

Will buy. Will also buy again when it's repainted black and teal.
