A children's toyline actually looking appropriate for children? THE HORROR!

Damn it, I was going to say something like that! I mean god forbid a toy for kids looks like *gasp* a TOY for KIDS!

It looks like the designers decided to create a combination of TFA Prime and Cybertron Prime, throw some completely tasteless "beast" details onto it, and then top it all off with a horrendously ugly dull-gray mechtech-style weapon. Heck, the Cyberverse figure looks better thanks to its lack of cheating on the chest transformation, and the silver, normal-sized weapons.

This looks to be just one tier above the Rescue Bots figures.
Yeah, let's just go back to the old Diaclone and Micro Change molds. That'll surely fix everything. :P

Compared to the utter garbage that I've just looked at, I'll even settle for one of Maz's broken figures.

As far as accessories go, nothing is worse than MechTechs [that don't lock].

I disagree big goofy looking weapons that shoot stupid projectiles are IMO. That's the type of weapons that come with crappy 4" Spider-Man figures or gi joe movie figures. But everyone likes what they like and I like my figures a little more serious than kiddy.

Even my 6 year old soon says it looks like its from the rescue bot line and when I say kiddy I mean play school fisher price kiddy and there are tons of people on this topic saying this toy sucks and looks kiddy so go troll someone else.

Wow. The mention of the original Diaclone molds reminded me... that's what we were getting originally. BELIEVABLE vehicles. You could show them to friends and they were surprised when they changed into anything else.

These guys, you can tell.

But yeah, I don't think the argument is whether these are "aimed at kids"... but the fact that the age group is shifting drastically younger and younger, to the point of shutting out many the adults. (Though I'm sure this of course brings in a number of toddler kids in their place. I'd be curious to see the "safe for" age printed on the cover of these new ones. I'd wager they're doing child safety testing for younger kids. Softer plastic and tolerances.)

Hasbro: Adults? Buying toys for themselves? Hogwash. 8-}
Top 5 Priorities:

1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
4) RiD Landfill (regular, not the yellow)
5) BW Convobat (red) & Megalligator (purple)

Also looking for any clear Arms Microns, like Shadow (Gora & R.A.), Hellflame and Shining (O.P. and R.A.).

Preparing to move to the US!

Okay. That's your opinion, but almost every Transformers line has included these "kiddy" firing projectiles up until DOTM, so this is nothing new. Many of us, myself included, have longed the return of firing projectiles. Beast Hunters is bringing me what I want with that.

Yeah, I'm with you. Giant MechTech gimmicks that take up half the box are NOT what I want. Scaled accessories that display well are much better... and some that fire missiles or discs? That's great. Much fun.

I have to agree. I'd much rather have firing projectiles than...the mechtech stuff. I mean, the mechtech idea COULD have been done really well, but it wasn't. I feel it wouldn't get better if it had continued, so better to just get rid of it. Also, projectiles are far more amusing than they should be...
