And the humans wouldn't know about the Predacons just like they don't know about Transformers (other than conspiracy). How in the world could the humans be cool about something they know nothing of?
Considering that, as of the Season 2 finale, the Decepticons are
turning Jasper into New Kaon, I don't think there's any "under the radar" left for any Cybertronian. Humans may not have much interaction with Predacons, but they'll almost certainly know they exist.
The point being: why would they need to worry about disguises anymore? Earth has become a battlefield and humans are watching in the booths.
I
agree with this. I thought you were trying to go the other direction, "even though the Decepticons are trying to turn Earth into Cybertron 2.0, the humans will somehow remain oblivious to the Transformers." But remember, alt modes aren't just disguises. They have practical uses of their own, such as rapid transportation, flight, durability, reconnaissance, and self-expression. The Predacons have savage alt modes which may have fire-breathing capabilities for all we know. I think the intimidation factor is big here. And also if you don't have transforming robots in Transformers it rather defeats the purpose, even if there's not a good story reason for them to use alt modes.

A lynch mob? No wait, a mob, period?! In
this show?!! Surely you jest.

Well if they give them the same budget and half the episodes, we might see more than 5 people at the same time! Wouldn't that be a feat?
