Turrible.

Perhaps a less primary-color scheme would salvage...the 'bot mode isn't completely hopeless.

Meanwhile, the less-expensive Star Wars: The Clone Wars uses cheaper animation and can still populate entire galaxies. :roll:

Inspired by, not identical. Especially in the front of the cab and angled windows. Also, he's got those tall shoulders like Star Convoy; they're not the same design-wise obviously, but they're tall, and the comparison is certainly there to draw on, particulalry when you're noticing the similarity is the design of the upper torso.

Well, yes. Beast Hunters, similarly to G2, contains the same characters with new accessories, and will more likely than not introduce numerous new molds in later waves.

However, G2 also contained (through the beginning) G1 figures with tweaked, garish decos. The only one with a tweaked color scheme is Soundwave. Bumblebee is still black & yellow. Wheeljack is still primarily white, red, and green. Optimus is still primarily red, light grey, and blue. Airachnid is still black & purple w/ gold.

An Optimus Prime in red and blue and gray that resembles previous versions of Optimus Prime? Inconceivable!

There's a big difference, in that G2 came several years after G1 ended, and was just a cheap and easy way for them to try to revive the brand, and wasn't tied to any cartoons. Beast Hunters, on the other hand, is merely an extension of a current line that's still in production, and is based directly on a cartoon.
