Those are the instructions. Since the bios on the cards have been reduced to a single sentence, probably due to package size reduction, each figure's instructions now has a chapter focusing on that character which forms part of a larger overall story. You have to collect all the toys to get the whole story. Here's Bumblebee's, for example, shown at NYCC.
Then you get Soundwave, Lazerback, and Wheeljack in that order for the rest of the story.
