Those are the instructions. Since the bios on the cards have been reduced to a single sentence, probably due to package size reduction, each figure's instructions now has a chapter focusing on that character which forms part of a larger overall story. You have to collect all the toys to get the whole story. Here's Bumblebee's, for example, shown at NYCC.

Then you get Soundwave, Lazerback, and Wheeljack in that order for the rest of the story.

Interesting, not a bad concept.

I'm inclined to agree. The weaponizers are a good example of increasing size and poorness at the same time.

We don't know what the larger Predaking is. Predaking is part of an unknown size class!

People are instantly dissing the figure because they think it's a Weaponizer. We've already got our Weaponizers for Beast Hunters: Optimus, Bumblebee, and Ultra Magnus. Nothing about Predaking there, and knowing Hasbro, they're probably not going to make more. Predaking could be the return of Supreme Class.

I like it. Lots of poseability. Sorely lacking in paint apps. Lots of wasted potential there.

In my opinion a solid enough release.

I'm not getting the Voyager. The scale is bad and his weapons aren't very convincing. Sword? Please. I'll be holding out for the larger Predaking as given that Megaton had to look up in the trailer, it's appropriate to have Voyager Megs look up at Predaking.

Also, rank of 10? No wonder Megatron is scared of him.

I hope he constantly cowers in fear when he's areound Predaking in Season 3.

Not as bad as previously thought, but nothing particularly amazing about him either.

I put this guy in the same boat as RiD Bulkhead: a decent enough figure that I'd be happy to put in my collection if it weren't for the potential of a better figure being available. That bigger figure certainly does look superior in beast mode at least. The voyager dragon legs are kind of pitiful.

Must admit I enjoyed the Wing Gundam pose with the twin blasters.

Oh look! His arms and legs transform into arms and legs!

Pass.

The hell are you talking about? His robot legs are his entire dragon torso, and his dragon legs fold up into robot calves.

The legs have an interesting transformation, but everything else is basic and uninspiring. Arms are still arms, chest is still chest, wings are still wings, heck you can even use the same head in both modes.

Well what do you want the wings to be? He's supposed to fly in both modes.

heck you can even use the same head in both modes.

At least it doesn't flip down to become the chest, like the majority of beastformers.

And yet no one complains when the hood of the car, or the cockpit of the jet becomes the chest in almost all of the vehicle-formers.

Just found Voyager Predaking and Prime at my local Walmart in Ontario.

Passed on Predaking, but jumped on Prime. Amazing figure and snagged him for
$15! Thank you Roll Back!

It's says Ontario, Canada in the location field under his name so, duh.......

Also, $15 for Prime. Must buy when I find him.

Good? Great! It's better than the $30 the voyagers are going for at TRU.

Really? cuz I see some definite inspiration going on with those hands of his. Specifically inspiration from this guy. ;)

I meant uninspiring as in the transformation from dragon arms to robot arms. >:oP

Please explain how beast legs to robot arms is intrinsically worse than car sides become robot arms. Beast head to robot chest is worse than car hood to robot chest. Back of car to robot legs.

Vehicle-formers can and often are just as lazy as beast-formers, but since beasts and bots are both basically humanoids lazy transformations are a lot more conspicuous. Not to mention beasts are a hell of a lot rarer and it's a shame the few we get go for the most simple transformation.

Really, I don't mind if a beast-former does one or two if the lazy steps, but these BH dragons are all doing the same "stand-up and tuck head away" scheme which is really boring (it really doesn't help they're all similar quadrupedal western dragons). I'd love to see stuff like the Fuzor Sky Shadow where most everything twists and folds in unexpected ways.

I find the hand in the back of the beast mode head (that nobody knows about) a nice touch. :P

They all have the same transformation scheme? No they don't. Predaking is turning both of his legs into his body, his tail rips off to become a blade of doom, and his head turns into a spine. That's not "stand-up and tuck head away." :BANG_HEAD:
