The Insecticon, ancient relics, and a Bulkhead solo mission? The next episode of Transformers Prime is coming up next week and we have a preview of TOXICITY. The clip has been uploaded to Youtube.com by user djinnmage and has been embedded below.
Hardshell huh? Guess they didn't have the rights for Bombshell. Well, an individual Insecticon General is pretty sweet whatever the variation of the name. And he F's up Bulkhead pretty damn good too.
So was it only one Insecticon that spoke at the end of Armada? I forget and this would explain that if it was.

Apparently the creative team of Prime promised that Miko would undergo major character development during the course of this season. They also promised that the 'T' four-parters would have long lasting consequences for the rest of the season. This does not bode well for Bulkhead. On the other hand, nice to see a Con that's less likely to jump ship this time. Really, between fatalities and treason it's a wonder that Megatron even has three (four?) officers left. (then again Knock Out is giving us that shifty look)
Some are thinking that might be David Kaye voicing Hardshell (as David Kaye is confirmed as having a voice role at some point in this show).

I think it's because Hardshell is some sort of "general" insecticon. Several parts of him look different than other bugs and he talks, and Megs named him.

Hardshell. Not a bad name. Yes, I think he might be a special Insceticon. In fact, because Hardshell might become a major character, so! Maybe a Hardshell figure.
I'm pretty sure I heard multiple insecticons speak at the end of Armada. And Hardshell has been the replacement name for Bombshell for quite a while now. Atleast since the G1 insecticons where reissued as ToysRus exclusives. In fact as far as I know, the only insecticon who still has his name is Kickback. Shrapnel is now Sharpshot.
