First Edition Starscream just arrived! Woop!

Managed to find Megatron at Argos in Lisburn. No deluxe class, and stock showed one voyager which was the Megs I bagged. Using the stock finder on their website it appears Northern Ireland has very little stock, if any.

Yes, it's very sporadic but considering we were told a few days ago that the release date is March we're lucky anything is showing up at all. Also, and as far as I know this has only happened once before, we got stuff before the USA

I really want that Megatron but he's not in my area. Next Argos stock delivery is Feb 10th for us. And I have £80 of Argos vouchers sitting around...

First, I got the Comic Con exclusive Prime 1st ed from HTS. (This one will stay sealed because I'm pretty sure deluxe OP will turn up eventually.)

Weeks later...

I saw TF Prime FE in my local TrU at Laval (Québec, Canada). They only had Starscream and Bumblebee. That was last November, or early December. Being a Starscream fan I just took him.

A while later, I took another Starscream to keep MOC, just in case. At 17$+tax, it's expensive, but I'm a Screamers fan.

After Xmas, the TF Prime toys were discounted to 5$! Of course, only The Bee was left. At that price, I snatched two. One I keep sealed, the other I open. (Bumblebee is not great by the way.)

Finally, the voyagers are here! Monday, I went to Tru, only to find just Optimus Prime. I wanted Bulkead too, but he was gone. I passed on Arcee and Cliffjumper because the voyager is 30$+tax and the deluxes are 17$+tax. Beside, there will be more later, right? Optimus Prime rock. Way better in person than in pictures.

Yesterday, I sad "screw it" and took Arcee at TrU. Great and sexy figure!

But then, shit got real on 4chan's /toy/ board. I saw thet the First Edition figures will be no more and the regular wave will be different, even inferior molds!
Bulkhead is being scalped at insane prices on Ebay...
Panic mode activated.

I franctically call all the TrU of Laval and Montreal. NO BULKHEAD ANYWHERE! Just in case, I call the TrU at the next town over. THEY HAVE HIM! Several in fact.

So today, after work, I asked a co-worker to give me a lift to that TrU. (I don't have a car). I used my credit card and most of my food money to get two Bulheads, two Cliffjumpers, one more Arcee and one more Optimus.

I'll play with one, and keep the other sealed. One hour and a half of multiple city bus rides later, in a slushstorm, I'm finally home with my haul.

Yes, I'm an idiot who will have to live on bread and water for a few days, but I'm a happy idiot.

Sometimes one must make sacrifices. I've had to pay double for Prime and Bulkhead and nearly double for Cliffjumper, although I'm not convinced that order is going to come through.

A friend of mine picked up a first edition Cliffjumper for me at Winnipeg TRU.Yay!!! Say bye bye to that ugly RID one.

I'm going to have to wait for the zombie version, at least it's the same mold. I'm not paying £40 on ebay for a £13 figure.

Just got my FE Hasbro Bulkhead in the mail today. While he is positively awesome, I might be inclined to wonder if he was $72.00 worth of awesome if I wasn't just so glad to have him and thus end that particular ill fated hunt. Its done. Over. And his online prices are already exceeding what I paid.

I'm expecting my FE Prime and CJ to arrive probably tomorrow. Not going to bother with the FE Vehicon, but it would have been nice to have gotten that entertainment pack with Prime and Megs and kids. You would think that the EP would have been the ONE TFP item that Hasbro would have made sure was available everywhere, but what are ya going to do?

Right now, I'm unhauling my spares. I planned to hold on my MIB collection, but if I can just lower the credit card bill a little, I will be happy.

By the way, since I will never be able to get the pack with the kids, deluxe Megs and Prime, I openned my Comic Con 1st Ed. Prime box. The magnet is on the fridge, the box with Matrix is in storage, an Deluxe TF-Prime Optimus Prime stand proudly in my OP shelf.

I should get my BBTS order at work tomorrow (Starscream, Bumblebee, Arcee and Takara Cliffjumper) and my Tracking number for the FE voyager Prime I bought off ebay shows that I should get him tomorrow as well. It's going to be a good day for TFs.

So after a couple of month of saying no and mabey to the Prime line my GF went ahead and reserved one just incase at Argos and lucky for me it turned out to be Soundwave,

The only other one i want now is a Vehicon untill Airachnid.
