I'm just saying, because they homage to each other like Super Link Shockblast to G1 Shockwave. And some people say that WFC is part of G1, like TakaraTomy in their United toyline. TFwiki.net has this link: tfwiki.net/wiki/transformers_united. You could search for it on Google. Takara showed that THEIR fiction shows WFC Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee scanning their Earth modes: WFC Optimus to Classics Deluxe Optimus, WFC Megatron to Henkei/Classics Voyager Megatron (still G1-accurate) and WFC Bumblebee to Henkei Bumblebee.

Like I said, some people would say that WFC is part of G1, like how WFC Soundwave and Bumblebee fit the G1 versions more than their Prime versions because of the designs.

And again, Takara does what they want with their WFC line & the Aligned Continuity family. The main reason it's there is because they didn't get the game. People could say as they please, but Hasbro confirmed that WFC is part of Prime, FOC, and the Novels.

And designs for Transformers change over time. I'm not just talking about the real-life scenario, but in the fiction as well. Please note that Bumblebee, Soundwave, and all of them have Earth kibble now, despite the fact that flashbacks of Cybertron show them with Earth kibble (we'll just have to pretend they aren't. )

I get what you're saying but that's a different case. Takara isn't saying that WFC is part of G1 in the United line, but rather, Takara is instead saying that United is a G1 universe that borrows the WFC designs and repurposes them for the G1 characters, much like how IDW is currently doing the very same thing with their G1 comics.

That's because the WFC designs are an homage to the G1 designs and so some people still think that the homage is great enough to make it be part of G1, when it is not. It's a non-G1 series that is simply heavily influenced by G1.

I'm crossing my fingers tightly for Corey Burton to voice Shockwave. But I can deal with someone who sounds remarkably similar.

It would be just like whenever Scott McNeil, Frank Welker, David Kaye, etc. do just that, going back and forth between their multiple characters playing off each other at once.
