Well, there is this possibility...

Have you seen the size of the Forge? You can't store that thing like an Omega Key.

Have you seen the size of Optimus Prime? You can't store him in Swindle, yet look at that screen cap.

Just a theory, not legitimate answer. As mentioned by another user, it could be that Dreadwing delivered them the Forge out of anger for the loss of Skyquake and Megatron's apathy to said loss.

Dreadwing might give the autobots the forge, or he might die...

What would be awesome, but extremely unlikely, is that Dreadwing joins the Autobots and gets reformatted into Jetfire. I know it won't happen but I want it to.

But what about the Jetfire who already exists?

True true ;) BUT, I too would love for Dreadwing to join the autobots. (I think it's safe to say that he is far more angry with Starscream than he ever was with Optimus and Bumblebee.)

I like that all the Decepticon voyager toys are dead.... except for Megatron. I also don't count Starscream as a voyager.

Breakdown, Skyquake, and now possibly Dreadwing.

Maybe Dreadwing will have a change of heart, and he will survive.. Sucks that he is not Thundercracker who is another 'noble' Decepticon.

Who knows. We do know that Optimus gets the Forge, and Dreadwing is no where to be found....

Couldn't have been said better myself.

Dreadwing's death wouldn't happen here; in the NY Toy Fair 2012, the preview clip for Beast Hunters shoes that he's still kicking.

I'm sure he joins the Autobots... just like how Skyquake was so close to.

Or at least gives the Forge to them. [-(

What? Dreadwing was absent from the preview clip for Beast Hunters, even further proving his possible death.

OR he's not there because he's with the Autobots. I know it's a bit of a reach, but I really don't want him to die.

I like him, but I think Dreadwing is going to die heroically. Given that he's voiced by Tony Todd, the odds are pretty good that Dreadwing won't make it...

I have a strange feeling that Starscream is instigating Dreadwing's wrath so that Megatron has to dispose of Dreadwing so that Starscream can get his post back. :-?

Well of course it is! It wasn't his plan to reveal that inconvenient (or convenient, in reality) little fact when he did, I presume, but I can imagine he'd inteded to incite Dreadwing's wrath at some point, to get Megatron to dispose of the blue-winged fellow and allow Screamer to reclaim his proper position.

The LA Times Hero Complex has posted a new still from tomorrow's new episode of Transformers Prime, "Regeneration". They have also posted an interview with the show's executive producer Jeff Kline, click here to read the full interview. He mentions that we can expect some characters to change allegiances and a sibling type relationship between Earth and Cybertron.

The image and an excerpt from interview are mirrored below.

Image

HC: Have you formulated a new three-year plan?

JK: We definitely reconfigured ourselves through Season 3, which we are in production on now. One of the nice things about “Transformers: Prime,” not true of all animated series, is that we have a full-time writing staff. A lot of animated series have to make do with one story editor and freelancers. It can be very hard to plot out long-term stories by yourself in a room. But we have a full-blown writing staff, so we spend a lot of time before we get down to script writing talking about where do we want to go, where do we want the characters to go.

HC: What can people expect in Season 3?

JK: As anybody who’s been watching the show knows, we tend to get bigger and bigger and paint ourselves into corners. So the end of Season 2 will paint us into a corner and hopefully you’ll be surprised at how we get ourselves out of it. For Season 3, we’re actually bringing Beasts into the story, which is a big game-changers. Not necessarily “Beast Wars” way or “Dino-bots” but Beasts, which are part of the Transformers lore. For us, it’s important to be able to justify that previous lore within our own continuity. One of the big things for us is the idea that Earth and Cybertron have been interrelated for eons. The Unicron arc played with that quite a bit. But Season 3 will be even more about how Earth and Cybertron are brother, or twin, planets in some way. And, as we’ve been doing for two seasons, allegiances will change, good guys and bad guys will switch sides, new elements will be brought in and old elements will be sent away. We try to change it up because we always want our Autobots at a disadvantage. From the very beginning, there have always been fewer Autobots than Decepticons, they’re technologically disadvantaged. We’ll continue to try to stack the deck against them.

It's like they want us to guess Dreadwing goes Autobot.

What we discovered early on, especially in Season 2, because we kept getting bigger and bigger, we wanted it to get more epic and the idea of having every episode be self-contained became impossible.
GOOD!

For Season 3, we’re actually bringing Beasts into the story, which is a big game-changers. Not necessarily “Beast Wars” way or “Dino-bots” but Beasts,
Not necessarily Dinobots, eh?

And, as we’ve been doing for two seasons, allegiances will change, good guys and bad guys will switch sides
Who wants to guess which Autobot will switch sides? ;)

the idea of using Beasts wasn’t presented to us until we were pretty far down the line.
Ah, so Beast Hunters came about due to Executive Meddling from Hasbro, eh? Interesting.

I sure hope it's not Smokescreen. Don't think it's Wheeljack either, considering his recent [Beast Hunters] toy is an Autobot. :???:

Well I sure hope they're not going to rehash Cliffjumper again.
