I am getting two of those and will be doing some paint work for the two so I can have a frenzy+rumble thing going on

The upside is that the vehicle mode looks to be nice, and the robot mode looks impressive. The downside is that the transformation mode looks like it may result in many pieces eventually losing the arms, and the name should have been "Frenzy " (but that is something I assume Takara Tomy may consider changing if they make this toy as well).

As for me purchasing this item? No. I do not buy Hasbro for numerous (often personal) reasons. However... This is one unique piece that I do recommend because he comes off as a fun, interesting figure to own.

I think frenzy suits the blue colour but the cartoon says the blue one is rumble
Also I love the look of the transformation as well the vehicle mode reminds me of a Honda civic

Ok, we are not starting this stupid color war again. Is it so hard to keep your preferences just as they are? PREFERENCES? Instead of passing your opinions off as fact?

Oh, and BTW, even if this were to be the case, Rumble is blue in this continuity anyway, so that above statement has no weight to it.
Like iv'e stated before, It's a matter of preference you can have it either way.

Once again, we will get the Color War as people say Frenzy is red, Rumble is blue. As others say Rumble is red, Frenzy is blue.

That is the funny thing. When Hasbro debuted the toys, based on what I both recall as a kid and also read up on to make sure I was sane, Frenzy was the blue cassette. But when the scripting for the English dub was done, it was said that the writers made the change because the red cassette was the one making the "rumble"-based earthquakes.

And I was thinking either the Honda Fit or Toyota Matrix, myself. But now I need to see the Honda Civic because you mentioned it.

Ummmm... Yeah.

Rumble, the character, debuted in the toyline as the red cassette. He also debuted in Marvel Comics as a cassette that appeared to be blue with red limbs. However, the change was ONLY made in the Hasbro's part of the G1 animated continuity, as the name fit the character's actions more.

Corrected your point, which I hope is okay. That, and you also forgot there quotes:

This was because in the Hasbro toyline, Frenzy was blue. In the Marvel Comics (now IDW) continuity, he appeared blue, but that was a color substitution. His limbs, however, were red. But in the U.S. cartoon continuity, he was renamed Rumble because he did all the rumbling. Japan never did change it. Hence why I assumed that Takara Tomy may consider changing the name, whereas here... It was done this way because people recognize the original cartoon version more than the other versions.

Oh... And I know I did the quote wrong, especially since I did not want to follow a trend that was started by a comic artist at the time. Especially since I am trying to be like orange juice and concentrate on the lines that still interest me.

Hence that despite my toyline preference, and reasons that I had to explain just know to end any possible assumptions aimed at me, I think the toy is worth getting. So why did you not discuss that while nitpicking me with assumptions and an obvious truth that had a reason to why I wrote it like that?

I was speaking up on facts that Hasbro started, not anything that should have people here assume that I am a fan of these characters. Besides, I was having fun with the facts behind the name swaps before people assumed that it was a war... Which I kinda find humorous as it was taken way too seriously. (Sorry guys, but I do!)

This isn't G1, this is Aligned, and in Aligned, Frenzy is red, Rumble is blue. But whatever, if it floats your fancy, call it Frenzy. It makes zero impact on the toy. And it's a nifty-looking toy that I intend to add to my collection. I might even get two so I can have a Frenzy. FIBRIB!

Irrespective of 'who' he is, he's still a cool looking figure!
