Kupp seems to be getting a bit more respect than he used to nowadays - first one of the best Generations figures of them all, and now the most appropriate possible repaint in the Prime lineup.

Kup's face reminds me of a gorilla... lol.

I have to wonder how sturdy Airachnid will be because she has TINY feet and a heavy looking torso.

I'm interested in her and Rumble though. Dunno how I feel about that Kup. I like my Generations one. Not remotely interested in Bee or DeadEnd

The official Transformers facebook page has shared the official images of Transformers Prime Deluxe wave 4 and 5!

Wave 4 is made up the highly anticipated new mold Airachnid, the Shadow Strike Bumblebee repaint, and the Wheeljack repaint/remold Dead End. Wave 5 features two all new molds, Decepticon Rumble and Sergeant Kup, who shares this mold with the yet unannounced Ironhide.

The images have been mirrored below.

Ugh. That mold works better as Ironhide, and really not at all as Kup. =\

It really kinda sucks, honestly.

What happened with Rumble? It's like they were going to make a figure of him but decided to miss transform him officially? A green paint job does not a Kup make.

Shouldn't the deluxe ironhide come out first?

I'll get kup just incase ironhide dosn't see release (better safe then sorry) as well as rumble and airachnaid

airachnid and rumble look pretty good, I agree though that airachnid looks a little top heavy.....well that sounded pervy. wtf is up with the dead end paint job.....was knock out mad there was another con car and gave him a well snotty loking paint job....I kid I kid....maybe. don't know how I feel about kup, I belive I will have to see a review first, not really digging his head sculpture.

edit: on a second look at airachnid I think I will pass. I think they should have made her a voyager so she was big enough to have her spider legs.....not digging the 7 limbs.

Yeah, he looks more like Sergeant Bulkhead's-annoying-cousin.
If Hasbro wanted to go REALLY nuts with mass-release versions of obscure Botcon characters, he could also be repainted into a great Turbomaster/Scorch.

Still can't get over our dashed hopes for a decent Airachnid. I bet it's all a plot to make collectors buy even more so we have extras to try and kitbash. They know us all too well.

Cool. So it seems we are getting a deluxe Ironhide?

I really don't like Airachnid. The arms just kill it for me, and I've noticed the feet more and more since people started pointing them out. I think she'll be a pass for me.

To be honest, I kinda like that BB, and I'm mildly interested in Kup, if only because I think he'll look good with Ironhide & Magnus. Rumble looks like a lame bad guy from an even more lame show World of Quest. I may pass on him too until I see more pics.

Scorch was not a Botcon-only character... he was a turbomaster from G1...

I like the kup repaint. IS US getting him in Ironhide colours? Cause I saw some AM pre-orders for a deluxe Ironhide.

If you go according to Hasbro logic it could be both. Alternators Rumble was red, RTS rumble was blue. I personally belive Frenzy is Red, Rumble is Blue

For those of you who are Anime fans, does Rumble looks like he can be from Gurren Lagan?

I know some people like this line, but Im not feeling it. I love the cartoon, but not the figures. I wouldnt mind Takara 1st edition Bulkhead to go with my classics figures since we got Lugnut. And maybe the purple Cliff, But thats about all.

Can't for the life of me figure out why they are releasing this mold as Kup first, seeing as how they just released the design as a Cyberverse Ironhide. You'd think Kup would have been the follow up repaint of Ironhide rather than the other way around.

Rumble looks freakin AWESOME.

I'll buy the Dead End mold because it has a different head mold. If it had been just a repaint I would have copiously avoided it. To bad they couldn't have given him some different weapons.

Airachnid is meh, but in the name of completion I'll still get her.

Don't know about the Bee. Already have FE, so will probably pass on this one.

Dead End - decent. I'll pick'em up since he's a new character and a good mold.

Shadow Strike Bumblebee - don't want, don't need. >:oP

Airachnid - REALLY wish she was more show-accurate. I don't like it, but I'll get it since I like the character and just in case there's no better figure made later.

Sergeant Kup - while it should have been Ironhide, he doesn't look half bad. I can dig it.

Rumble - YOWZA! Easily the best-looking of this bunch! MUST BUY!

I'm starting to think Hasbro is releasing the inferior figures first on purpose. They know people are less likely to buy a repaint or new mold of the same character if the first one was better. That might be the reason they screwed us out of the FE figures, they knew nobody would buy the PRiD versions if we already had the superior FE figures.

This is a new universe from G1, and in this universe, FIRRIB. :P

I know it's kinda lazy to have all of Rumble's car mode on his shoulders, but I like the look it gives him anyway. So conflicting. Will buy, anyway. Dead End....he's growing on me, I'll probably buy him on discount. Shadow Strike Bumblebee is a PASS. Airachnid.....she needs to be so much better, but it's Airachnid, so I'll get her. Kup is awesome. Bought. Ironhide version is also bought.

Here's a weird thought:

Figures that didn't receive First Edition treatment are almost crazy accurate.

Wheeljack? Pretty dang close.
Knock Out? Pretty dang close.
Airachnid? Body needs work, but that head? Dead on.
Dreadwing? Almost perfect. Even got the gun we wanted.

First Edition figures are almost exact duplicates of the show models. (Key word: almost. They're not 100% perfect)

Yet their PRID versions are almost painful to look at. It's almost like they're GIVING us a reason to buy FE figures. If you take FE plus PRID to fill in the gaps, the cast toys look almost perfect.

....I swear this was a sales ploy. Looks like it's working, too.

*sigh*

I have no choice but to get them all except the Bumblebee repaint. I've got FE Bumblebee, that's good enough for me. I will grab Kup because I love the mold, Dead End is also an easy grab, as well as Rumble, because he looks AWESOME! Airachnid ...

I feel like holding out for a better Airachnid, but as I still have no leader class movie Blackout, I think I'll just grab this Airachnid. Hasbro is good at letting people down in some cases. I'm sure I'll like Airachnid once I have her, just like when I was pissed that I had to settle for Skullgrin over Straxus/Darkmount. Didn't like it at first, but once I had it I loved it.

I found both Cyberverse Dreadwing and Ironhide today but do we know if we are getting larger scales of these 2 characters...?

At least we know this repaint BB will keep the current BB in stores company on them pegs :P . I think Arachnids alt mode from above looks like a craw-daddy with a propeller on top. :VEHI:
