Unicron is defeated but what was thought to be the end of the Autobots' darkest hour is actually proving to be just the beginning! The centuries-old war pitting Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and his team of heroic Autobots alongside their most trusted human allies-Jack Miko Raf and Special Agent Fowler (Ernie Hudson Ghostbusters)-against Megatron (Frank Welker) and his nefarious Decepticons rages on coming to a boldly exciting climax you absolutely have to see to believe! It's a brand-new season of the Emmy Award-winning series Crave Online calls the show "die-hard fans have always wanted."

It isnt "exaggeration" if its only in your opinion. I personally hold prime right up there with Beast Wars, and thats my opinion. You hold Rescue Bots right up there too, right? In your opinion?

Yeah, but I don't claim that Rescue Bots is the series "die-hard fans have always wanted."

It's one thing to say "I like something" and another to say "Everyone loves this." Prime may have mostly positive reception on this website, but opinions about it across the Internet are more mixed and diverse than one might think.

It's a pre-order. Meaning an order that can be placed well ahead of time in advance. Season 2 is 26 episodes just like season 1 was. The Hub even refers to the next upcoming episode as being a part of season 2.

the link and description is for the DVD set, not Blu ray.

Either way, thanks for the heads up!

How many episodes have aired like 15?

And is the 26 confirmed?

Funny thing is that I did not like season 1 when it was first airing. It is a long story tied to my own G1 roots, not liking the CGI on Beast Wars, and feeling like the series was taking itself a bit too seriously. But that changed after seeing the first few episodes of season 2! And now this series in #2 on my list, as well as one that will definitely be bought by me.

That is... Once I stop debating on what existing Transformers I want to buy for my future permanent/AFA collection. And that started with 1, got up to 5, and is going to become 10 (12, with the non-Transformers... If I also get them graded). But we'll see, as I guarantee that I will own the BD versions of this series at some point. :michaelbay:

I wonder if that release date applies to the Canadian market too, considering:

1). Prime Season 2 hasn't started up here yet.

2). When it does, it's unlikely to be finished by that date.
