I hope we this type of thing in Transformers 4. It would at least make the movies feel a little less "Samey".

Dang, this show is twisted for being a kid's show.

I love it. :D

I hope they stretch this out and don't make it a one note episode. I think this is a story line that could carry an arc for a few episodes, at least. Or make him a recurring character. (Much like he was, prior.)

But, now this should put people's questioning minds to rest... Breakdown is dead, dead, dead. The writers or producers (can't remember which) said that once someone's dead, they're dead. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Ballsy.

Well... If this'll cheer you up, I have heard that the Takara Tomy Combaticons (FOC Generations version) will be more series accurate.

Or would you prefer a scale model of Airachnid being killed by a resurrected Breakdown? :-?

Looks like Miko can now have her wish of having Silas get pummeled and crushed inside the body, from what she said back in "Nemesis Prime".

Maybe they can work out a Headmaster storyline out of all of this!

This is more of a take on "Autobot Spike" than the Headmaster tech.

Hmmmm I don't think either fit. It's more like Spike and Daniels exo-suits or a human protector shell. Silas definitely doesn't turn Into a head or have his mind taken out of his body. Oh oh or like in g1 season 3 when cobra commander transplants the captured Autobots minds and the criminals drive their mindless bodies.

Edit: though the criminals weren't surgically attached, so I guess it isn't like that either.

I think it exactly fits their name. It's a MECH. ;)

Wonder what he is after this time? What knowledge do humans posses that interests soundwave enough to go get it? Surely its not another space bridge guidance system attempt. Maybe humans have found relics and have them stored in their own version of "sector 7".

He's not in any slumber. He's dead. And he's not coming back. That would go against their motto: "Once we kill a character, we kill a character. They won't come back."

Do you want to teach kids that you can come back to life if someone takes over your body?

I think there is a possibility.Breakdown's body is intact, his head is not damages(Except the eye of course) he just needs some energon to power him up and go...but of course if it was that simple dark energon wouldn't make sense would it?
I just miss Breakdown :-(

You and me both, but it doesn't make sense for him to come back. He's dead. You would need to reignite his spark, and of course you'd need Breakdown's memory core...and processor. And get new writers to change their philosophy.

Not to mention Breakdown was in pieces before MECH got a hold of him. Who knows what they did with the essentials to make room for Silas?

Hey, if they can counter-hack Raf with the press of a button on the console of the helicopter AND know next to nothing about Transformers yet know how to disable their pain receptors AND have a light that turns off instantly when you snap your fingers AND construct a near-perfect replica of Optimus Prime that you can operate with a thruster, two pedals and a joystick?

I'm not holding my breath.

All that information they acquired over time with careful study.

I don't know why people hope and hope for characters to come back after they die. The writers said themselves, a thousand times, that they aren't going to bring back a character after their dead. If they're dead, tough luck; keep crying.

Sure, I'm sad Breakdown's dead. Sure I'd give anything for Breakdown to come back, but it's not going to happen. It's the unfortunate truth.

 :-(
