Tim Curry who voiced Transformers Rescue Bots villain Dr. Morocco is recovering at home after suffering a major stroke last July according to eonline. Tim Curry is also known for his roles in Rocky Horror Picture Show, Clue, various broadway performances, and a slew of television and movie credits (enough so that his filmography gets a separate page on Wikipedia).

eonline wrote:Tim had a stroke last July. He has been going to physical therapy doing well and in great humor," the 67-year-old actor's rep tells E! News. "He thanks everyone for sending good wishes. He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humor," she said.

We here at Seibertron.com wish Mr. Curry a speedy recovery. Recording of Rescue Bots season 2 just wrapped and should debut sometime this winter.

This happened last July, and has only been made public almost a year later? Nice to know that even today, celebrities can have their privacy in times of crisis and ill health. Here's wishing him well.

Does this mean they had to get someone else to voice Morocco?

Oh, I didn't think of that.

Voice recordings for season 2 episode 1 began on September 27, 2012 (2, almost 3, months after his stroke happened), so I'm hoping Mr. Curry was well enough by the time it came for him to record his lines.

If not, they had better have gotten a darn good soundalike.

first im hearing of this, either they were very good at keeping it under wraps or the news is full of assholes who care more about no talent hacks than people with talent who have been around for a while. Im going to go with option number 2. But glad to hear hes ok, hes such a great actor & has such an iconic voice it would be a shame to lose him. I also had no idea he was in rescue bots, still wont watch it but good to see that hes still in voice over work.
