wow, I NEVER knew this game existed, I stumbled upon it just now on Youtube.
Anyway, how is it? Worth picking up just for some single player Transformer fun?

In my opinion, no not really. WFC or FOC are much better to pick up if you dont have them.

I played and LOVED FOC, I might consider taking a step back in the series and picking up WFC then.
(just looked cool to play as some of the Bayformers, that's all) lol

It's not a great game, but I do like it a lot more than I liked WfC. RotF had a better variety of characters and environments. WfC all the characters played the same and all the levels felt the same. I got bored with it in about half an hour.

ROTF still has my favorite multiplayer of all time. Much better than WFC's, FOC's, or DOTM's.

One thing I really wished they could of done with ROTF was give us more G1 skins. I'm not gewunning here, it's just I think a flyable G1 Soundwave with a similar flight style as Megatron or Power prime would have been nice.
But it's to late now. Say Sly, you got it for PS3?

It's decent, I suppose. The graphics aren't really that appealing, (Chrome Studios has horrible design in my opinion) but the gameplay is fun. You can get up to two players and duel a buncha drones alongside each other as well. However so far, my favorite is the newest game: Transformers Prime. The multiplayer on that is very fun as well.
